I had a terrible experience with the customer service at Coffee Bean. Except for the guy at the cash register, the rest of the staff needs proper training. The lady who claimed to be a supervisor was the worst. Her behavior was unprofessional, and she treated the customers very poorly.
I tried a blended drink for the first time, and it made me feel sick. When I politely asked her to remake it or give me a refund, she refused and displayed a bad attitude. I would have even accepted a refund and left, but she didn't offer.
Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I hope they recruit more staff who know how to handle customers better. Furthermore, they need help with cleaning the tables and disposing of trash. I have attached some photos, and you can see that the lady who gave me poor service has multicolored hair.
Coffee Bean, please train your staff in customer service or hire employees who understand it. What happened to your customer service? You can't even call the corporate office. It's way past the pandemic, and at least with Starbucks, you can get ahold of someone and give feedback on good or bad service. Coffee Bean has gone downhill, and that's really sad. The staff doesn't care because they say they're all managers when they're not, and they know there's no way to call corporate, so they can get away with anything and be mean. I visited today around 2:30 PM when I walked in I was just stared at like there was something wrong with me and then asked if I had a pick up order… No “hi, how are you? Or “How can I help?” Just “are you here for a pickup order” I’m like 👀 “no but I would like to order”
I went to the restroom after ordering and when I came out, I noticed a new cup of coffee had been made and was sitting next to all of the other pick up orders so I just simply walked up, looked at it to see if there was a name on it… Nobody said anything to me as I did this and there were two staff standing right in front of me… I asked, as one of the girl was walking away, “is this mine” she said was “yes” as she continued to walk in the back without even turning around to look at me.
I replied back thanking her and also said “have a good day” as I proceeded to walk out. To which again, no acknowledgment or reply whatsoever from the remaining staff standing up front.
I get it, the city is on fire, trust me I know! I had to evacuate…
That’s why I am here in Anaheim…
Just the lack of pure acknowledgment in any capacity was kind of sad. If this was my establishment, I would absolutely have a conversation with the staff about their customer...

The workers don't listen to you and constantly give you the wrong order. Today I asked for a regular coffee with half n' half and 2 Splenda on the side. They put the cream and Splenda on the side. I let it be and put it in myself. While I was mixing I found a piece of plastic in my drink. I had another incident where I ordered two coffees and the coffees were made wrong and when I spoke to the manager he said, "I didn't make your coffee drinks. find out who made them and ask them." I don't believe that was a very management appropriate response to an issue. He should have been keeping track of his employees and orders from the customers.
