This new coffee shop is located in Downtown Disney, right outside Parkside Marketplace.
Parking: If you’re staying at one of the Disney hotels, then skip this part of my review. If you’re a day guest, like me, then you’d park in the Simba (Downtown Disney) parking lot and walk over. Follow the arrows. Paid parking lot. Check the Disney website for costs & validations.
Ambiance/Environment: I only visited the outdoor window. I believe you can order inside Parkside Marketplace, but I haven’t walked through there. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was pretty consistent. I like the outdoor designs; it was really cute and represented the business well.
Service: The cashier Chris G. assisted me. I asked him what were the most popular lattes since he told me they ran out of the Velvet Noir. He recommended The Sparrow or Sweet Rhapsody. After ordering, he gave me a buzzer and sent me to the pick up window. Throughput was quick & efficient. I waited under 5 min from ordering.
Drinks: I was bummed out they didn’t have the Velvet Noir that was advertised. It was a limited time only drink, but they should’ve taken it off the menu since they didn’t have it anymore. Seems like an ongoing issue with them running out of items and not removing it from the menu or being transparent about it. I thought the options were okay .. majority of the menu were slushies, basic coffee, & snacks. I’m a latte/specialty drink person, and there were only 3 options on the menu when I visited. I decided to go with an iced Sweet Rhapsody (lavender mocha latte). The lavender was overpowered by the mocha, so there was only a slight lavender taste. I actually enjoyed it.
Pricing: This is Disney. Of course it’s expensive. If you’re a Magic Key Holder, you get 10% off. No DVC discounts. (Knowing Disney, this will...

Makes me sad because this place started out serving amazing coffee and now they're just another typical overly sweet option at Disneyland. Please fix your syrup-to-coffee ratio. My Sweet Rhapsody tastes like pure lavender and milk. Only reason I give it 2 stars and not 1 is because the staff is very kind.
This place went from 5 stars to 2 stars.
The coffee is actually REALLY good. I'm glad they have an alternative to Starbucks. Nothing wrong with Starbucks, but sometimes I want better coffee, and I'm glad Disney finally made it happen.
My favorite is the Sweet Rhapsody. Not too sweet. Not too bitter. A perfect balance. My kind of coffee.
My wife got the Sparrow and she liked it too.
We actually came back for round 2 later in the afternoon. I got the Sweet Rhapsody again and my wife got just a Vanilla Latte. The coffee was just as great.
I got a cinnamon roll in the morning. It was ok. A little dry, but still good for breakfast.
We will definitely be coming back. Well done on the...
Read moreThe Baseline: For a coffee shop the baseline involves the quality of the roast, the taste of the coffee, and the preparation of specialty drinks/food items.
Food: The coffee here has a great taste, is well prepared, and is roasted well. The menu provides unique offerings, such as the Onyx (vanilla charcoal latte) and the Sweet Rhapsody (Lavender Mocha Latte), which are tasty and well prepared. The size is big enough if you order a large.
Service: The day I went there it was a little slow. It was within the first two weeks of opening so I will admit it is subject to change in a future visit. Otherwise the staff was friendly and engaging.
Ambiance: Since it is a stand, there isn’t dedicated seating immediately available but there is an upstairs terrace which you can order from and have it delivered. Otherwise this is in a more active area of Downtown Disney with a great amount of activity. From the terrace you can view the fireworks or you can go to the quad to enjoy live music when available. It is a fun place to enjoy...
