I used to love Arnold’s but after the experience I had last night, I have completely changed my mind. I ordered a grilled chicken salad from bite squad and paid $20 (food, tax, and fees) for this salad and waited for an hour.
Once I received my salad I opened it up and saw pure dissatisfaction and disappointment. I paid $10 (salad cost) for what looked like a child’s salad. Maybe a third of the box was filled and that was shocking considering I have ordered there before and the salad was almost overflowing out of the box.
I called them and asked to speak to a manager, I waited 10 minutes for a manager to even get on the phone and once they did I explained what happened and said that I paid $10 for 5 bites of a salad and all the manager had to say was “I’m very sorry this happened, I’ll have to start watching the serving sizes in the future”. What kind of response is this? This is proof of poor management that doesn’t care about their customers. They were too focused trying to get me off the phone in a hurry instead of fixing the problem they had caused. Maybe they should start to pay more attention to the customer at hand, instead of worrying about “in the future.”
I was just super disappointed in the amount of salad I received for the price I paid and then the rude management that I had spoke to. I will be spending my money elsewhere...
Read moreWe think the food is good, unfortunately, the service is always lacking. They are rude and act bothered by the fact they have to deal with a costumer, and, though they are rude, when you sign for your purchase, the machine asks for a 20 percent tip automatically, in which you have to decline right in front of them, thus causing an awkward situation for all. Asking for a 20 percent tip in a DRIVE THRU adding up to at least 4 bucks on a 20 dollar order, seriously? Drive thru workers get paid normal wages, they don't rely on tips, they don't serve you, clean up your table, make small talk, bring refills, nothing, just hand you a bag and then stare at you expectantly. Nope, not getting my money today! These restaurants have decided it is a good idea to put tip software at the drive thru so hopefully their costumers can help pay the employees more so they don't have to. It's dumb, and I'm boycotting all drive thrus that put me in this situation from now on. If I want to tip, it will be be because i received exceptional service, that's how it used to be, and I don't appreciate feeling pressured. Won't be coming...
Read moreMy husband and I usually enjoy the hamburger steak plates from here until today, September 15, 2022. I called in my order, and Ashley took the call. When I arrived, Ashley greeted me and took my debit card to pay for the order. Moreover, our food wasn't ready yet, so I waited and watched the cooks (2 white, middle-aged guys) complete the order. Then I observed one of the cooks stoop down by the grill, paused and sneezed twice out in the open. He then got back up and continued to cook on the grill. I couldn't believe it??!! This guy was NOT wearing a mask, and he did not cover his mouth. He had no respect for the customers nor for himself. Just by watching him, it made me think that this was a habit for him. This was enough for me to ask for my money to be placed back on my debit card and to NEVER return again! They claimed that a refund was issued but it actually was not. I had to go to my bank and make a complaint before the charges were deposited back into my account. One wise rule to follow is to NEVER pay for anything until the job...
