I just had the worst experience I've ever had at brusters & I will not be back!! I pull up to the drive through order my ice cream which was a kids dirt sundae and a butter pecan waffle cup( which is called a bowl and that's my bad that I didn't say bowl but OBVIOUSLY It isn't hard to know what I'm trying to say) so after I order my ice cream I sit there and nobody ever says anything so I said "hello" and she says "you can pull around"... so I'm like really? So I get to the window and she says my total and I nicely told her that after I said my order I never heard anything and that's why I said hello.... and she said sometimes the speaker doesn't come through or something like that and so I gave her my card.... She hands it back with my receipt. She brings out my butter pecan waffle cone... i said "do yall not have waffle cups?" And she said "we have bowls is that what you want" and I said "yes please I'm sorry" and she doesn't say anything she goes to the back yells for another girls name working there and brings me back my waffle BOWL along with my kids dirt sundae and i apologized again about the mix up even though it wasn't technically my fault!!!! She asked did I need any other spoons or anything.... completely ignores my apologizes and says "okay" all sarcastic and walks away from the window and proceeds to talk with the other worker... never a "it's fine have a great night" NOTHING! So i say loudly for them both to hear me "Thanks y'all have a nice night" and the other worker says "thanks you too" and that was it. I start to drive off and my husband says you literally see more bowl than you do ice cream.... brusters is not cheap but they always pile your ice cream up!!!!! I barley had any ice cream in my bowl. I had proof that I ordered it on Aug 1st but they said they did not receive it until I was standing there around noon on Aug 5 and they found it. Luckily we had plans change and I didn't need it until the next day. The girl said it normally took 24 hours but made arrangements for me to pick it up at 11:00 the next day. No big deal. I arrived just before 11:00 the next day. I was informed it was still not ready. The girl said it just needed to be frosted but her manager had to pick some things up on the way in and was not there yet to do it. She said it may be done at 11:30. Went back a third time to finally pick it up. The manager was there but I had to ask for him to come out and speak to me. I could tell from how I heard him interact with the other girl that he had no intentions of speaking with me when I came back. I was very nice to him, but he took no responsibility for any issues, told me what appeared to be contradictions from what the employee had told me, and offered no compensation for what was clearly their issues. He told me they could not have made the cake when it was supposed to have been made the first time because they never received the order, even though it was a glitch on their end. Then he told me that he was not there early that morning to know why it was not done on time the second day other than it would normally take 48 hours. The other girl had told me he was the one who had to finish it and he wasn't there yet. She also told me 24 hours-- not 48. Read moreDid an online order for a cake on a Saturday to pick up for a family event on Wednesday, giving them plenty of time. When I arrived the two teenagers behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy when I said I was here to pick up a cake. They then just said hold on and left me standing for a good 10 minutes, while one disappeared and the other helped others. When he returned he came to tell me that the person that was supposed to print out the cake orders did not, they saw that I had it and paid for it but blamed another employee. He said the two options I had was to take a plain cake they had of just vanilla or the manager will come and have a cake ready in 5 hours. Seeing how that then was when the event was I asked for a refund. They were just doing the job at hand so I didn't want to make a big deal with the teens but I felt the Manager should have taken better action. They should have contacted afterwards and tried to make it better, but I never heard anything after. I even emailed to state my concerns and no response. Bad business ethics.
