We normally give a location two chances before we decide not to go back. We went to this location earlier this week and went through the drive-thru. We waited about 10 minutes and there was no answer, no even to my "hello?" I pulled around to the window and I witnessed a young lady with a mop in her hand. She rolled her eyes, opened the window and I asked if they were still open. She very rudely stated, "yeah, but we're cleaning up, did you want something?" It was only 9:30 PM and they didn't close for another 1/2 and hour. I refused her service since I didn't want her handling my food after handling a mop and "cleaning" supplies so I left.
I went back tonight around 6:15 PM to give them a second change. Again, they don't close until 10 PM. The lobby doors were locked, both the North and East side and the line to the drive-thru was long, approximately 6 cars, I witnessed one leave the line and go elsewhere, so I decided to wait just to see how far this would go. I heard one honk and yell "hello?" into the intercom before leaving. The truck in front of did the same thing so I decided to leave as well. When I pulled around to the window there was one driver in her vehicles obviously having an altercation with the worker.
We called their corporate number after the first occurrence and it was made right with a free coupon for the inconvenience. The new store manager even took the time to call us personally and offer a few free meals on him. However, after tonight's encounter, I will not be returning to this location until the staff is either trained properly and the "I don't care" attitude (which seems to be an issue with a lot of Arlington businesses lately)...

We placed the order in the drive thru..well we tried but then went in because it was repeated back to us wrong several times..The burger combo and a gyro..nothing special..no add-on's. Mind you and we were waiting to get to the window for over 10 minutes...only to find out the order was NEVER placed and the drive thru another 20 minutes BEFORE we went inside and waited another 25 minutes to be assisted and then told we would have to wait another 18-25 minutes just for the burger because it was only one cook..I saw another manager come in but she did nothing but hold the wall up. Whyyyyyyy! When I had asked about our order status and told the 18-25 minute status I then stated the reason we were cancelling the order and they needed to get it together and jump in to help the Cook and put someone else on the register (like Lee he knew the flow without looking at the register) that didn't need help or overrides and knew the codes. Lee was the employee that was helping the manager as much as he could but the manager was still like a deer caught in headlights and nervous. Anywho, We went down the street a little and went to Flavor's Wings N Daiquiri's ..walked in, placed our order, received the order and headed home ALL within 10 minutes. The food was fresh, hot and delish as always!!! ARBY'S MAY HAVE THE MEATS BUT NOT THE SERVICE!!! WE WERE SO HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED THAT WE COULDN'T...
Read moreI would look to first start out with Byron the manager that was the one in the kitchen making a sandwich where his supervision and focus should be on the customers and had one of the employees in the back making a sandwich then he comes to the window when I've been sitting at the drive-thru window for 12 minutes for two roast beef sandwiches and ask for mayonnaise did not get the mayonnaise and then I asked him for a refund cuz I've been waiting too long and I'm in a hurry to get to work he tells me I have to come inside for a refund which is ridiculous because if I as a customer wanted to come inside I would have come inside there should be no problem with serving the customer inside and drive through with the same service I should not have to go in to get my refund did I get the food it's cold doesn't look fresh at all so I've been sitting at the window for 12 minutes for what I would like to know and understand and wasting my time effort and money to come there where I have not been to Arby's for 9 years I wouldn't even give a one star to the manager and not yet I have got a call from anyone he Byron walked away after speaking to me at the window and asked for my refund didn't come back to the window didn't apologize didn't give me a refund or anything just walked away and how to employee hand me my food that is ridiculous...
