Mac's Tavern & Grill - Karaoke Bar — Restaurant in Arlington

If i could rate this place ZERO STARS, I WOULD. This is a very RACIST establishment and they are NOT FRIENDLY NOR WELCOMING. I came in with a few friends the other day and as soon as we walked in the whole entire bar staff starred at us as if we were not welcomed and not the type of crowd they deemed fit to enter their establishment. We felt very unwelcome but decided to stay because we just wanted to do Karaoke, play pool and grab food for our friends birthday. The waiter approached us with the most tasteful attitude and mugged us as we were communicating amongst ourselves. She then looked back at the bar to her staff and then we knew they wanted to find a reason to kick us out of the establishment. My peers and I weren't loud nor were we aggressive, we greeted her and say hi and asked we asked for our ID because she said we have to be 21+ to be in the establishment. We are a group of 23-27 year olds so we all handed her our documentation. She kept looking at the bar and we began to feel like she wasn’t really interested in assisting us nor the establishment because of the offset demeanor they all gave off. We all collectively decided to leave and as we were leaving we looked at the bar again and they were all grinning and laughing amongst each other. We were a group of 23 year old black men and women and we were ridiculed and mocked for being eager to celebrate someones birthday. I never taken Mac’s for a racist environment, but my experience here on Saturday September 1, 2018 was definitely disrespectful degrading. We went there to celebrate my niece birthday. We laughed we song we bought food drinks and everyone at the table tip our waiter Kitty. The DJ was very pleasant, I assume the bartender and another waiter had a problem with us for what reason I have no idea. The very rude waiter spoke very bad of us to my uncle when we proceeded to leave I over heard her say good they are leaving. I celebrated my birthday in July I also had two co-workers that I informed about your establishment and they celebrated their birthdays there as well. I have told several people. I will never visited here again, I will definitely let my coworkers know the treatment that received and I’m sure they will spread the word. I felt so degrading I never visit establishment without tipping and conducting myself in a very respectful manner. But to experience such racist experience to assume we didn’t tip our waiter or conducted ourselves in an unruly manner is not how we carry ourselves. And for a waiter to talk down about us to another family member and she didn’t know him or us. You have to give one star, because you can’t give zero, but I will never visit this establishment again or nor...

If I lived in the DFW area I would be at this bar EVERY weekend!! Went to Mac’s in Arlington with a couple of friends to get some food, grab some drinks, and watch the game and let me te you this is truly a wonderful bar in every sense of what you expect a bar to be!! It super spacious, plenty of seats and areas to choose from. The food was finger-licking, “lick your plate clean” good!!! I had the Philly cheesesteak wrap and let me tell you…BEST CHEESESTEAK I HAVE EVER HAD!! Most times the beef isn’t seasoned, but at Mac’s they season it very well which makes for a whole new level of cheesesteak!! The service here is phenomenal too, our waitress was very attentive, and extremely helpful! I wanted a good drink and she recommended that I try a tequila and orange juice and not only was it amazing,but it may very well be my go to drink from now on!!
