McDonald's — Restaurant in Asheboro

I dont usually eat McDonald's but I in a hurry and it was the closest restaurant. I order 2 regular cheeseburgers a large fry and large sweet tea in the drive thru. After, paying for my food I drove to the next window they handed me my sweet tea then asked me to pull forward and someone would be my food. Now, just so everyone knows McDonald's wasn't busy at all at this time. I asked the drive thru person why I needed to move my truck after i waited my turn in drive thru to pickup my food. The teller told me cause my food wasn't ready yet and he needed to serve the other car behind me. I told the teller that i wasn't moving that i paid for my food before the other car and i wanted my service before the other car. Next thing i knew someone else showed up in the window and asked me move forward. I then decided to put my truck in park and told the other person I wasn't moving until I have my food. Now let me remind you all I ordered was 2 cheeseburgers large fry and tea, nothing special just a plain burger and fry. I asked the teller how can yall not have 2 cheeseburgers and fry ready to go when I order them. This is a burger joint that sells the same burgers all day. They told be that they had cook the patties for the cheeseburgers that's why it's taking a few moments. I asked what did the car behind me order and after a few moments of fighting they told me that the other car order 2 BIG MAC and 2 Large fries. I was mad. I recently placed an order using the McDonald's app but encountered several issues during pickup at the McDonald's on East Dixie Dr. The staff seemed ill-prepared to handle online orders, and I had to repeat my order code five times. Despite my efforts, they still seemed distracted and disorganized. Initially, I was told that my order was canceled, and later, they claimed it was at a different McDonald's location several miles away. The staff at the drive-thru windows were unable to provide the address of the restaurant that they worked at , and it was evident that they were not adequately trained to handle mobile app orders. So, I had employees that didn't even know the address of the restaurant they worked at. Although I had already paid for my order online, the confusion and misinformation led to a lot of frustration. I eventually decided to drive to the other McDonald's location to check if my order was there. Unfortunately, after waiting in the drive-thru line, I was informed that my order was at the original restaurant. I give up. As a result of this experience, I have lost confidence in using the McDonald's app for future orders. Ever since the two amazingggg women left, this place is absolute trash. I’ve worked in fast food before & work with the public every day and I’m usually a little more patient with small mistakes. But this morning was very much the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. First off, this location, charges you an upcharge for the size drink that comes with the combo. It’s only 20 cent but it’s the principle of the thing that you’re not honest about your prices. Second, they rang me up for a drink without ice which I didn’t ask for, and when I asked for some ice, they refused to give me ice without charging me more money. Like… what? They kept wanting me to give them the drink back through the window & they would remake it. You’re not even allowed to take food back through the window yet they do it all the time. All of them speaking Spanish so that I can’t understand them and just staring at me like I’m the ridiculous one. When those two women worked there, I genuinely loved this place. I went here almost every day because they were so kind, they rarely made mistakes but when they did, they fixed it with no issue.
