While I enjoy the quality of the coffee and food here, I was disappointed to be asked to leave by the server when I took out my laptop. It was made clear to me in no uncertain terms that their space was limited and they planned to maximize their return with a quick turnover (while the space was not even full).
I understand that Aspen real estate leases are expensive, but having spent time in London, Monaco and Paris, where the cost to do business is steep, I was never greeted with such "practicality" and a desire for the business to get the most out of every customer.
I understand if this was the height of the season, but during the slowest time of the year, perhaps it would behoove this business and its employees to think about the fact that locals who go to work at coffee shops are the source of consistent revenue, tips and referrals.

Read moreI ordered peach cake and a latte a paid for it, few minutes later I was told that they donât have a cake for me since it was sold to somebody else but at the time I ordered the cake it was available on the stand. They told me that cake refund will be processed and Iâm being charged only for the latte. When I asked for the receipt I was given the receipt with the refund for the latte but not the cake, manager at the store couldnât explain properly why I was given lesser refund since cake was over 15$ including tax and I got refund of 9.28$ which is the cost of latte. By that time I wasted over 30 minutes going back and forth with the manager and was so fed up with how horrible the customer service was that I asked her to cancel all the items out and gave her the untouched latte back. If you value your time I would not recommend this...

I asked if a mocha latte could be less sweet and the server said oh itâs already mixed it canât be less sweet. Yes, it very well could be less sweet. If you would mix some of the premade mocha mix with some plain milk, it could be less sweetâŠ. Turns out their mochas donât even taste like there was a drop of sugar in there WHICH THEY COULD HAVE SAID. How was I supposed to know it wasnât sweet as practically every coffee shop in America uses a TON of sugar (even though this place is Italian, they could have kindly given some direction instead of acting so annoyed and inconveniencedâŠand it wasnât even busy). 0...
