Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Atchison

The donuts and service from the lady up front was good. I did not appreciate the cracker jack front entry way, it's extremely small and awkward, and that is the way you order the donuts. Your behind a plastic divider and the front door is closed to a dining area which does not seem like they want you to come inside. I know we live in this covid era but it's not welcoming and it's not easy to even see the donuts , they are not labeled and far away so you basically cant see them on display, the lady has to tell you what they are if you can them and describe them! It's very weird. They should open up and treat this like a happy place so people can enjoy a happy place with donuts! As it should be. I would not go back, because of the lack of ambience...

Daylight donuts have the best donuts I have ever eaten. They have the best selection at the best prices if people go to the store and see how much eggs and sugar and flour have gone up they know that she has tried to keep her prices down. also I don’t know if people know that she gets to Salvation Army she gets to different organizations and tries to help the needy. I randomly got 2 phone calls from this place I don’t answer random calls. I googled the number and it came back to this donut shop. Then I received a voicemail of a lady telling me to call them back it’s important so I figured I will call back to let her know she got the wrong number. To my surprise she was extremely rude when I tried to explain that she had the wrong number. Then she rudely cut me off to say “Whatever Whatever” then proceeded to hang up.
