Whiskey Depot — Restaurant in Atchison

We've been there over a half dozen times - I've been holding off on a review, hoping it would get better, but it just hasn't... On the plus side: It is gorgeous with very sharp looking and comfortable seating, bar (love the leather couches), etc. They are adding nice events like game nights, live bands, taco nights, etc. They are doing more advertising On the downside: It is significantly over-priced, especially since the pours are painstakingly measured 1 oz shots (or slightly less) The selection, while growing ever-so-slowly, is quite small considering all the brands MGP owns, is acquiring, or makes the actual juice for - and the reason they give for that is "our distributor can't get any of those for us..." The service is not rude but is consistently slow and rather inattentive - they apparently lack training and/or experience in the hospitality/food service industry. They could easily increase both their tip %'s and ticket average with just a little professional training. I REALLY want to love this place and hate that so...

This place is absolutely gorgeous and has phenomenal drinks. Hayleigh and Allison were wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed my visit! I look forward to stopping in the next time I’m in Atchison. Side note: while they don’t sell food, outside food is...
