First time here- placed a pick-up order. This review is strictly on their food. As a native San Diegan, I grew up with Mexican street food. I’ve been searching Atlanta (one year new to Atlanta) for something close to this, and Betos might be it (at least within the city)- even complete with a salsa bar that harkens back to those mom and pops tacquerias in San Diego.
Ordered the three-taco plate- carne asada, Al pastor, and the cabeza. GREAT flavors for the Al pastor and asada. Unfortunately, I think they accidentally gave me carnitas instead of cabeza. I’m a huge cabeza and Lengua fan, so I’ll have to come back and try those.
I also ordered the gym burrito with carne asada. The reason for the four stars is the portion of this burrito- while it was very tasty, I felt like it was 80% rice and lettuce and 20% meat. Was hoping for a bit more balance. Either way, it was a great burrito.

My friend ordered the carne asada tacos, which were equally amazing—juicy, well-seasoned, and topped with a tangy salsa verde.
The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The only minor downside was the limited seating, as the place is quite small, but it’s perfect for a quick bite or takeout.

Read moreFirst and foremost, let’s talk about the service!!! I was treated with a smile not only at the door, but at the register, and throughout my experience. During third grand opening there was a lot of movement; however, everyone was hospitable and kind. Let’s just say Beto’s amazing service won them a customer! Not only was the service great from the moment I walked in the door, but it was efficient and smooth process. I arrived at 2:04, I received my tacos by 2:15p. My tacos (Pollo—chicken) were amazing and didn’t have so many fixings making it overwhelming. As an African woman, I eat most things with spice! However, when I request it in food, most dishes DO NOT have it! Beto’s salsa bar remained true to spice as it displayed authentic...
