The inside atmosphere is pretty nice. It's on the ground level of a business highrise in Midtown Atlanta. The staff was pleasant and friendly. A friend and I ordered Iced Matchas and decided to sit outside. We weren't exactly pleased with our drinks. The matcha powder was a bit clumpy and not mixed well. The outside seating and tables needed cleaning as well. Overall, I think this location is a decent option for this part of Midtown. I wouldn't recommend their iced matchas. I've had their coffee in the past, which I enjoyed. I recently ordered another iced matcha, unsweetened with water only. The associate was quick to state, "It's going to be the same price." It was over $8 for a little matcha powder mixed in some water. I wasn't trying to save money, I just didn't want any milk or sweetener. However, it was disappointing that they didn't offer to discount the cost. I order the same thing at Starbucks often, and they don't charge me more than a...
Read moreDaily I order the blue berry lemon muffin (warmed just a bit). Today I arrive to meet my wife, while waiting I asked for a glass of water. I sat down and observed two gentlemen working at the large table both on laptops and neither drinking or eating anything. While sitting in the chairs by the window and the front door, a young man walks over to me and says: “This searing is for paying patrons, you’re welcome to sit over in the building’s lobby area.” I explained that I usually do eat here but today I’m strictly having a glass of water and waiting on my spouse who may order. He hands me a menu and asks that I move to the lobby area. I move with no resistance and I continue to observe the two gentlemen occupying a table and not ordering a darn thing. Policies are policies and I get it. However, if you’re going to enforce them at least...
Read moreI ordered a vanilla cinnamon latte and asked if I could please have sugar free vanilla in place of vanilla. The barista then charged me extra for the sugar free vanilla. I asked her after I ran my card if that was a mistake and she said “no, you asked for sugar free and that’s an upcharge, just like premium milk” I understand completely that oat milk or coconut milk costs more than skim or whole, but there is no cost incurred to switching out a syrup flavor. I wasn’t asking for additional pumps, just trying to lessen the sugar in my drink. She was very rude about it, and gave no offer to remove the charge. Then, I got my latte and it was truly disgusting and bitter. What a waste and a terrible...
