The measure of a great place to eat is how interested are you to explore the menu. From their main dishes, I've tried ALL the proteins in bowl form because it's hearty, convenient, great value for money, and delicious. And when I say delicious, I need to clarify. I'm from Puerto Rico and this humble little restaurant at Politan Row is the CLOSEST I've come to eating home made cooking like back home. The rice options are all authentic and depending on the protein, a different rice will match better. The Colombian chicken is the closest I've come to having a chicken fricassee dish that can measure up to Mom's and my Mother in Law's. The pulled brisket? Closest I've had to match my Father in Law's. If you want a taste of Latin comfort food, look no further. Are you ready to make a happy bowl? Having something 100% real, fresh, and tasty is getting harder and harder to find. If you find it, it may cost more than you were expecting. Latin Fresh is a perfect blend of all the good stuff with great combinations of flavors, textures, and spices. You can go extremely heathy here too and they will work with you on your dietary needs. Personally, I am trying to get away from processed fast food like Chick-Fil-A, and I think I found a new home. My money, health, and sanity is very important to me, and for the little money I have, Latin Fresh is my go to when I am not eating at home. Give them a try, and ask for samples too. I only had the empanadas, so I'm limited in what I can say. They were greasy and had that mass produced tough and smooth texture, not the flaky texture of a hand formed empanada. Taste was ok beyond the greasy flavor. The website said they were ready immediately so I figured they must have just pulled a batch out, but when I walked in about 5 minutes later, they were still in an air fryer.
