Where do I start...made a reservation on Monday of the week for a group of 15. Clearly no preparation or care was taken as two of the main dishes on their appetizer menu they did not have. And one of them they only had one order left. This is the only notice we got in advanced. First we quickly discovered that they had 1 person ( and bless her heart she did the best she could under the circumstances) she was working the bar inside the small portion outside and serving a party of 15...what an awful predicament to put this young lady in...she struggled to keep up. I never got a refill on drink and let's get to the food issues...all of which were discovered once the food arrived...you sent out steak meal that was supposed to have black garlic aoili...we had to ask just be to told...oh we are out of that sauce...and how my medium well steak was dry...you sent out burgers...asked for mayo and mustard to then only be told...we don't have any cause the burger is not sold with either mayo or mustard but what restaurant doesn't have mayo and mustard as a condiment for burgers...it gets worse two people ordered a crab cake sandwich that was supposed to be dressed with remolaude...it was dry with no sauce and then when we asked...were told they were out of that sauce. So you just sent out a dry sandwich with no sauce and thought we would not notice...now the chicken thigh gumbo...you sent it out with dry chicken breast...and once again we had to say this is not a thigh this is a breast for the server to have to then admit it was a breast...so again you thought we would not notice...and the the supposed gumbo looked and tasted like brown gravy...this was one of the most awful experiences I have had at a boutique type hotel and restaurant that is supposed to be an upscale dining experience. And even after all of these what I feel were purposeful issues...cause no way all of this stuff was not known before they just sent stuff out wrong and missing stuff...no one from the kitchen...chef...no one ever bothered to come out and apologize to our party of 15 guests. Furthermore, no Manager was on-site... not even an MOD to handle. While the family member was able to speak with the manager via phone this all was just ridiculous...oh and wait that appetizer that they only had one left...which was the spinach dip...the chips were so stale they could barely be bitten. You serve 15 people, and all but 2 dishes have issues not previously communicated you did not even care enough about your patrons' horrible experience to at least offer an apology. Now they did...after speaking to the manager via phone take some cost off but the experience was a 60th birthday and just moments we can't get back and it took away from the event cause we had to keep stopping asking for stuff or questioning things. Clearly, they need a different plan. It was just an awful experience and again just felt really bad for the young lady trying to work the bar that had about 20 people being served and having to serve our party of 15 alone...no help. Bright spot..the brussel sprouts were good. All else very disappointed cause clearly again they didn't bother to plan at all. Wish I read some of the reviews beforehand but I was not the planner and super excited to try it. I think it's interesting, though reading reviews now that they only respond to the good reviews...clearly might be part of the issue. Cause if you really want to get to right or get better, you take the critiques and misses seriously and do something to fix it. I will stick with my other truly upscale spots in Atlanta that really care about patrons choosing to have special dinners etc.

The food here is incredible, and we even had the pleasure to meet the chef. We came into the establishment for a birthday event, which seemed to overwhelm the staff but they kept their cool and provided excellent service. My partner had the meatloaf, which was cooked perfectly with a sweet, delicious sauce on top. I had the roasted chicken dish, and it was reminiscent of Thanksgiving with great flavors. I also had a side of brussel sprouts that had hints of sweetness and char that made it a well-rounded dish. However, the absolute best dish that I tried was the duck burger—succulent, juicy, flavorful. It was one of the most amazing burgers I’ve ever had. The crowd also raved about the crab cakes, but I didn’t get to try them…perhaps I will on my next visit. This little hideaway is PACKED with great dishes. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. Try it. Oh, and there’s valet. Just pull up!

It's ashame I have to give Mrs. P's such a low rating. I was really excited to try this place since they started building it. It's such a cure little place. We thought it would be perfect for date nights. But alas, this is another atlanta restaurant that is more about aesthetic than actual food. All our food was bland. At $35 a plate, $18 a drink we expected better. With a quiet ambiance and regular drinks, the focus really is the food. There are just too many options in this area below this price point for us to suggest this place even for the guest in the hotel.

We had been to Mrs P's about 3 or 4 times previous to this past visit and never had an issue. This time our service was so bad. Had reservations, said sit where ever. Okay well 4 of us so one table would work which was a 6 top. They never removed the extra place settings which is odd. Also the place isn't huge so you would think they would want to turn around tables at a decent pace on a Sunday brunch...we were there for over 2 hours and over 30 minutes of that was waiting for our server (Brooke I think) to cash us out. Not sure why with no one sitting at the bar except one person, the server was making the drinks for all her tables. So ordering a carafe of mimosas...took over 20 minutes. The second one we ordered, we also ordered a second bloody mary...the bloody mary never came and we had to go up and ask the bartender to make it. They use OJ with pulp...okay if fresh squeezed but not out of a jug please. We actually had to scoop it out of our drinks there was so much. Food....it was okay. Over medium eggs came out well. And it's just too expensive for the portions you get especially when your server never comes to check on you! The kid bussing the tables, came over after an hour with a coffee carafe...none of us had coffee. Had to ask for water multiple times. When we asked for the bill, she told us it would be 5-10 minutes. We had our credit cards out when she returned and she just left everything on the table while wondering around aimlessly to other tables. We took our bills up to the bar hoping he could cash us out and he could not. Asked for a manager. Then see her try and run our credit cards, disappear in the back with them...then walk around to other tables without our credit cards and finally asked someone else to go get them or we were all going to call our credit card companies and cancel our cards. Because what the heck was this girl doing? Never in my life have I not left a tip...but I was not giving this girl one extra penny. Also manager never came out. We were so bummed...not sure what happened to the guy from NY that used to handle Sunday brunch but without him it's a bunch of staff walking at a snails pace with not a concern in the world and...

We went there for Sunday brunch, and the service was miserable. We had a reservation, but we had to wander around the restaurant for 10 minutes until we could find somebody to seat us, then they crowded us into a booth that was not at all comfortable, even though the restaurant was empty and had lots of tables we could have been seated at, rather than being crowded into a booth designed to sit 3 people, not four. It took forever for anybody to take our order and even longer for our food to come. We started to just get up and walk out a couple of different times while waiting but we didn't have time to start a new decent restaurant from scratch as we had folks trying to catch a show at the Fox. We also spent more on soda than food, since they told us they don't have a liquor license and we could not order cocktails and nobody told us they don't have free refills on Diet Coke. They are trying to be "European" elegant by using little Coke bottles, but unlike a European restaurant, they don't bring the bottle filled with the other half of the soda you ordered to the table to sit beside your glass, so that you know the deal, so I guess that is a big profit item for them. Then the DJ started playing, and we had the misfortune of sitting right by her speakers, so it was very loud and annoying, since the speaker was right by our ears. We live close by, but we won't ever go back there again, it was so bad we were laughing at how bad...
