I didn't even know this place was in this building, but now that ik that, I'll be coming more often. I got myself half mozzarella half fish cake korndog with fries, a regular milkis, and veggie dumplings. I got my sister another korndog and a peach tea. Everything was sooooo good and fresh. The cheese was great quality and the fish cake was really tasty. The fries were nice and hot and had this seasoning that gave it so much flavor. The dumplings were very filling and good, especially with the soy sauce they provide. The drinks were as expected great. (I love milkis). I didn't sit in the seating area, but i noticed it was quite clean. 10/10 restaurant. The service was excellent too, very friendly. Please, if your considering some really good Korean food go here.
Update: they added 3 new food items: kimchi fries, tteokbokki, and shrimp tempura bowl. I tried the tteokbokki and it was perfect for me. The tteok was perfectly chewy. The sauce had a nice sweet and spicy...
Read moreKbob opened in this space this week and since I work in the building, I had to give it a try. I popped downstairs to grab a beef bulgogi bowl on my lunch break and took it up to my office - it's FANTASTIC. Really good flavor and a great variety of textures in the bowl. It tastes homemade in the best way. I also didn't finish it at lunch so popped it in the microwave later in the day - and it was still delicious.
So exciting to have a delicious hot food option downstairs again and I really hope kbob keeps it going! I think the price is really reasonable for the amount of food you get (easily 2 meals if you can resist eating it in one sitting!).
Protip: they also have Monster in the fridge and fresh coffee every morning - so it's a blessing to have caffeine options...
Read moreK-bob just opened about two weeks ago at the Park Place Deli and it's delicious Korean fare in convenient and well-sized rice and noodle bowls (they call them cups). There's something for everyone with beef, pork, chicken, and veggie options. Prices are very fair, food is fresh and cooked to order.
Yung and her husband are very kind and pleasant. They own and operate the business and are willing to adjust their menu based on the needs and wants of the clientele in the area.
I'm hoping this place is able to stick around! It's really nice to have a comfortable and delicious restaurant in the building where you work/ go to class. So go pop in, chat with them a bit, and let them know what you'd like to see on the menu if you're going to...
