A small, intimate setting with great stage lighting and sound equipment/techs. Steep enough incline of seat rows, so that ALL seats had a great view! Staff was very personable, welcoming & informative. Making sure everyone knew where bathrooms, etc were upon entry. Guiding everyone to their seats. Accommodating couples with separate seats to sit together with minor (polite) shifting of guests. Taking time to show VIP ticket holders where to go after show. I loved the high boy tables and cozy couches you could sit at near the windows during intermissions. Overall a wonderful experience. I would not hesitate to see more shows at Theatrical Outlet!! P.S. The Authentic Flamenco Show w/Yolanda Osuna was OUTSTANDING...I wish I could have taken photos of the male’s Solo with the wet hair flipping against the dark spotlight…breathtakingly passionate show.

In a word, WOW! This is truly a Hidden Gem in the city of Atlanta. I was able to enjoy the play The Royale by Marco Ramirez. The play was intense and extremely well acted. I and all of the other theatre-goers were on the edge of our seats, literally. The tagline of the theater is "Stories that stir the soul" and I believe it. There's also an intention to spark meaningful conversations about topics that matter. Display and likely every other play that curate achieves those goals. I am extremely excited to find this theater, cannot wait to return for another play and highly recommended!

First time attending a performance at this venue and the one thing you can't beat is the intimacy of the space. There is a area provided for host/performance company to utilize as a concession stand, for merchandise sales or information center. Downside was the bathrooms are located upstairs but the venue does have an elevator for easier access. Plenty of paid parking garages located within a 5 min walk of the area for attendees. The facilities were clean. Sound quality was good.

We went to see the Pitman Painters last night. The show was terrible. I have watched theater productions all over the USA. From Broadway to Sand Diego and Denver. The actors were very good but the material they were working with was terrible. We left at intermission. I would consider seeing a different play here but don't waste your time seeing Pitman Painters. The story was so basic it was for a child. There was no emotional connection, nothing learned, nothing relevant and just nothing at all. If Larry David gave a review he would say Meh. We were excited for our night at the theater but we wished we would have done something else. I like to take risks and try to see something that I don't know much about but it didn't work out this time. I am big fan of art. I love Sister Wendy Becket on PBS, I love to take Bob Ross painting classes and I love to support local artists. When I was in Denver I often went to the First Friday open house art exhibits. So perhaps sit this show out and wait for the next one. I like to go in fresh to see a show but next time I will read...
