Food was absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly and they made sure you were taken care of. I tried the Pollo Ranchero with a Cucumber Limonada and it was amazing. The Pollo was so juicy and flavorful that it left you wanting more. It was a good portion that could easily be shared. Be careful with the habanero sauce as it really packed a punch. The Cucumber Limonada was so refreshing and paired perfectly with the chicken and rice and beans. Of course, I didn’t stop there and I ordered the concha ice cream sandwich, which left me so full the ice cream sandwich had berries in it, and the buns were toasted which made it so much better. I have never seen a dessert like this and I honestly wanted a second round. They don’t serve alcohol at this location just yet however, the vibes were amazing. The food was great. The music was great. The servers were great. The owner was very transparent on waiting on his liquor license, but allowed you to go next-door to get some drinks. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Atlanta.

The service was incredibly friendly and fast, the restaurant was clean as a whistle, and the food! The food is worth coming all the back to Atlanta! Everything from the chips and salsa to the dessert was fresh and absolutely delicious. We loved the agua frescas (we had the cucumber lemonade) and the cute jugs it came in. The popcorn shrimp was unlike any I’ve had elsewhere. The batter is light and crispy, not dredged in breadcrumbs like the frozen kind. The cantina dip was even better than it sounded on the menu! The mango flan was custardy, creamy, fruity and the perfect amount of rich. The churros were perfectly sweet and spiced with cinnamon, with chocolate to drizzle with. This place has only been open since august, but they’re knocking it out of the park. I highly recommend checking them out before they become a bustling Atlanta hotspot!

if you're hoping to sit and sip at a bar, this might not be the spot for you—for now it's strictly BYOB . That said, the atmosphere is welcoming, thanks to the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. I tried the quesabirria, which came in at $22. While the flavor was solid and definitely enjoyable, I've had better versions at a lower price point, so it felt a bit overpriced. As for the guacamole, it could’ve used a little more salt and a splash of lime to really make it pop. Overall, the service shines, the food is good (though not quite worth the premium), and if you're okay bringing your own drinks, it's worth checking out.

I will start out by saying the food I ordered was tasty, the flavors were rich and creative. But my husband’s burrito came out cold. I tried it because I thought maybe he meant it was like luke warm but my bite was like not warm at all. And this was right from the kitchen. Also, the server put in the order for apps and entres all at the same time so it all came out at once. My husband’s burrito came out before his appetizer actually. So it was a bit weird and didn’t give us time to eat apps before our food was ready because he didn’t stagger the order like at most restaurants. We tried the corn which was good but hard to eat, like it’s not cut off the cob just FYI, the rind is still there so you can’t just bite into it. Be prepared to get messy hands eating that if you order it. But it was good! I also got the Porfirio’s salad which I really enjoyed, the salad dressing is very unique. Not to everyone’s taste for sure but I liked it and would recommend it. We also got the tres compadres and that was good but again didn’t have much time to eat it since our entres came out at the same time, so we ended up taking 85% of that home. This isn’t a budget eat either fyi: for a burrito, a salad, corn ribs, and the tres compadres it was like $80+ after tip. I liked my salad but have mixed feelings about the place overall with the oddly timed food and...

My family recently held our reunion at Porfirio’s, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to host our breakfasts. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and excellent service.

Ambiance: The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for our large group. The decor was charming, and the seating arrangement was ideal, allowing us to sit together comfortably and enjoy our meal as a family.

Food: The breakfast spreads were delicious! There was something for everyone, from chicken and waffles to monte cristos, and fresh juices. The quality of the food was outstanding and they handled special dietary requests (i.e., vegetarian and vegan) to make sure that everyone was happy.

Service: The staff was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The efficiency with which they managed our large group was impressive, and they did it all with a smile.

Overall, Porfirio’s provided a wonderful breakfast experience for our family reunion. The combination of delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service made it a memorable start to our days. I highly recommend this restaurant for any gathering, big or small. Thank you, Porfirio’s, for making our family reunion...

I’m very, very displeased with this restaurant. After a long day of walking, over twenty thousand steps, we walked in after seeing an amazing menu online. We saw amazing menu options; however, we did not expect the prices. Three tacos for around $25 is crazy and insane.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo pasta. With high expectations and the high price, I expected an amazing meal. However, all that was laid on the table was disappointment. The pasta was undercooked and still hard, while the chicken and the piece of garlic bread were stale. The pasta sauce itself was incredibly salty and unenjoyable, causing me to become super thirsty.

To top it all off, they got all of our checks incorrect even though we told them beforehand. We asked for separate checks, but they grouped us together anyway. We also got charged around $4 for two ounces of cheese. And not only that, but there is a mandatory tip of 18% of your total meal. We believe this was the reason the waiter wanted to group our checks together even though we asked not to.

Overall, a total that was supposed to be $45 ended up being over $60. We were extremely displeased with the entire experience, and honestly, it makes complete sense why the restaurant...
