I had a severely disappointing experience with this particular Corner Bakery location. I had ordered $400 worth of food for a lunch presentation to be catered, which never showed up. I had ordered online at 8:00am the day of the presentation, which I have done many times before. By 10, although I had a confirmation number and page online, I did not receive an email confirmation. I called the location so they could check on the status of the order and confirm there would be no issues, that my food would indeed be delivered on time without complications. So when it passed the scheduled delivery time and still no food, I called the location up to figure out what was going on. After a long hold for the manager, I was then told I couldn't place an order within 1 hour of the delivery time. I said I placed it 4 hours in advance and further called to confirm the order. I was told them any time I called in and had an issue, I should ask for two specific people. How was I suppose to know that? I have never had to call in before, nor, did the other employee connect me to these "specific people." The manager then proceeded to tell me everything I did wrong and if the order wasn't placed around 5 or 6am she wouldn't see the paper trail and doesn't check the computer so basically it was my fault and not hers. She was incredibly rude to me, and I am at a work function looking ridiculous because the food I ordered didn't show up. Instead of lecturing me, I said she needed to speak with the employee who helped me the first time assuring me everything would be taken care of. Let's just say the manager could have just apologized and asked if they could try to fill my catering order. I said absolutely not and had Jimmy Johns delivered withing 15 minutes because I relayed to them my predicament and now needed food ASAP. As someone in the customer service industry, the customer is always right and can't believe a manager would lecture the customer instead of their own employees about the issue. Take responsibility for the mess up, but do not lecture me. I will definitely not be using Corner Bakery for catering any more, at least not...

Read moreI always come to this place especially when my friend come to town and we can by this location for breakfast or lunch but when I'm by myself and want a nice little breakfast i come by here for the usual Now I don't get the grand slam breakfast, but today was very foul. I just ordered some grips, potatoes, toast and oj and the total was $12.04. The presentation looks ok but they put Cheese on the grits and the potatoes taste hard and rubberish like leftovers or just sitting there and it through the whole breakfast off. I brought it back to the server and told her what was wrong with these potato. and I would like some fresh ones and she gos and throws it away and brought me back the same thing again. I asked her does anyone or any member checks the food before they send it out? She doesn't know what I'm talking about and says "I don't be in the kitchen". lousy answer, I bet she wants her food to be done right. I even told the cashier and the bus boy, does any body looks at the food before they send it out? they look at me like they didn't know what I was talking about and the server ask me do I want a bag of chips? I told her no, I'm done with this and took a picture of the mess but I can't find a way to load it. But I'm gonna say this, Corner Bakery y'all drop the ball on this one. You wouldn't do this to anybody else, why do this to me, this is why I don't give tips, because of things like this, I didn't get a Grand Slam breakfast, but for $12.04.You should treat me as if I was getting a grand...
