Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Atlanta

The way I was treated today was absolutely unacceptable and unnecessary. I was bothered in the middle of a meeting three times despite having purchased food. Once when I was eating the rest of my lunch I had from earlier when I look up to a man glaring at my plate. He then interrupted the virtual meeting I was in rudely to tell me I’m not allowed to eat that inside of the restaurant and that I’d have to stop eating. Which I feel like in on itself is an absolute boundary because why are you this close to me as im eating my food ALONG with the pastery that I had purchased. Well honestly I didn’t feel like being bothered so I left the wrap alone. A few moments later he bothers me again saying that now the drink that by the way I had just decided to take the last sip of was not allowed either and with a disrespectful tone I was told I could comply or throw it away only because I asked him could I please finish the last bit of my drink. After this I decided to leave and sit outside as to avoid being bothered so I could continue my meeting in peace. This situation I feel like was handled in an inappropriate manner by the employee and the shift manager who did absolutely nothing to help the situation. I understand that there are rules but there’s no way I’m a regular costumer and I was literally treated as if I were a burden. It’s even more disgusting that I’ve seen people do the same thing and go completely unbothered. I would very much like to address this situation still with someone ABOVE a shift manager please...

I have been going to sweet hut bakery and cafe for some years now in many different locations in Georgia. I really love the variety of different buns, muffins, pastries, and other desserts. They also have a nice variety of drinks. My favorite bun i always pick up amongst the many is the pork bun. I'd take it for a quick bite for lunch at work. The pork is a little sweet on the inside. It's not like bbq sauce, but Asian style sauce and the pork is tender. They don't put a lot inside, and the bun is just the size of a small personal pan pizza, just enough for something to satisfy some hunger. For a drink, I love me a slightly strong but perfectly sweet latte. I usually would get their caramel machiatto latte (hot). I tried something new today when i went inside. It was a cheese and onion bun. Very savory. Even my picky eating kid enjoyed it. The service was nice, although the young lady charged me for a dessert I paid for but didn't get at the Peachtree Street northeast location in Atlanta. Maybe it was the amount of buns and things I placed on the counter that was a bit of a distraction. That doesn't negate from the fact that the place had a comfortable atmosphere, and the buns were all individually wrapped to ensure no one spreads any germs on the items. In previous years, they were all just placed inside separate areas without any kind of covering aside from the little see-through doors. I'd recommend going for people who enjoy eating different kinds of bread and buns with a little or a lot of sweetness in...

I am a frequent visitor of this café since I live right up the street, however the past two orders I haven't been able to have my drink made correctly and it's really going off my experience.

The last time I came in, I ordered a Matcha with cold foam on top, Extra sweet… My Matcha barely had any sugar in it and they completely forgot the foam that I paid extra for.

Today I came in and ordered a pandan tea, I've literally never had any problems with them doing 125% sweetness for it, however the employee let me know that they can only do 50% sweetness on the pandan tea? It's really starting to seem like they have a problem with making the drinks sweet Or if you add any toppings that they don't personally agree with, your drink will come out completely different. I really do love this café, however they need to start setting one standard across the board for everyone to follow, and also if somebody is telling you that they want their drink made a certain way, make it without your own personal biases.

I usually try not to complain or give the workers a hard time while I'm there, however it's just been ridiculous recently with my drinks constantly...
