After a very long long day with the family for a basketball tournament, the family and I went to go eat dinner and decided on Eastwind for asian cuisine. We were starving and exhausted and wanted something super tasty. This place was a joke and a big mistake.
I understand prices can be a little bit higher in Atlantic City, but wow, their prices are absurd. I couldn't believe what I was reading on their menu. $25+ for Beef & Broccoli? really? Our peking pork chops were $30 ... its not even that expensive in manhattan for a better portion and flavor, too. The KBBQ short ribs were about $30 also.
The best tasting food we had was the fried rice. I cant even remember how much that was. The peking pork chop sauce was great, but the meat itself was disgusting. It tasted like the meat has been frozen for a long time then took it right out of the freezer to barely be cooked. it tasted so dirty and gross. The Chicken Pad Thai had no flavor at all, might as well have eaten plain noodles with nothing on it. The Pho was ok, had way better everywhere and anywhere else we've had Pho. The KBBQ tasted good, but their kimchi was a disgraceful. The fried dumplings were okay, definitely needed more seasoning for flavor.
The service was nice, they were all so sweet, but I am truly truly truly disappointed with the food that we were served. I will NEVER recommend this place or ever come back...

If you’re in the mood to be ignored, confused, and served the worst sushi you’ve ever tasted—this is your spot.
We walked in just wanting a simple sushi dinner. Not asking for gold flakes or anything crazy. Just basic rolls. But apparently, that’s too much. “No salmon.” “No spicy salmon.” Oh wait—15 minutes later—“Actually, yes, you can have spicy salmon.” 🤔 Cool.
Spicy yellowtail? “No.” But wait—it’s literally on the menu. Make it make sense.
The food? Awful. The sushi tasted like it had a long flight in from last week. Service? Waiter Jason? Let’s just say his energy screamed “I’m too good to be here,” while doing the bare minimum with maximum attitude. Obnoxious, slow, and couldn’t be bothered. One person got a water refill, the other? Nah, stay thirsty. No chopsticks with the food (you have to ask), and when you ask, you get a silent nod like you’ve just requested something outrageous. Same deal with soy sauce. And just when you think you’ve secured it, another server comes over, takes it away, and asks if you still need it. While you’re still waiting for sushi. You can’t make this up.
And let’s not forget the vibe: pure arrogance and attitude from the staff. Obnoxious, dismissive, and painfully slow. Honestly, I’ve had more pleasant experiences at the DMV.
Save your money, your appetite, and your patience. We won’t be...
Read moreThis chinese restaurant located on the boardwalk at Atlantic City, New Jersey is an okay place to eat. It’s a nice and homey break from tons of fast food joints on that stretch.
The decor and ambience is very oriental; expectedly. The door outside has the full menu pasted on it, that way you can decide before coming in if you want to eat there or not.
The food is affordable and is served with free glasses of water. Drinks selection are local or imported.
The wait staff seemed pressed for time and as such, didn’t attend to us as nicely as clients should be attended to. It felt like he was shuffling between too many tables at once. This considerably extended wait time. Taking orders took more than twenty minutes from the time we were seated. It wasn’t very pleasant. They are not so friendly. I just don’t know..
One can’t substitute elements of an order. For instance, in an order that comes with shrimps, pork and chicken, you wouldn’t be able to get more shrimps if you wanted to forgo pork.
The food was okay. I’ve had much better Lo Mein elsewhere but the pan fried noodles were EXCELLENT! Overall, fresh food, fun ambience, affordable price point. Worth...
