Hayday Coffee — Restaurant in Atlantic City

I really wanted to love this place, but we had issues both of the times we went here.

The first time we waited for our breakfast sandwich for 20 minutes before the ladies realized they had completely forgotten about our order. They were so nice and apologetic and the breakfast croissant sandwiches were really awesome. I mean delicious Gouda cheese, a flavorful sausage patty. Yum. However, when we got back into our car we realized we were missing a croissant. We didn't want to have to go back and wait again with a hungry kids so we just called and left them a message.

We decided to go back the next day for more of those croissants and then claim our missing one as well. A different crew this time but very accommodating. When we got our food we brought it back to our car and distributed the sandwiches and as we all began to eat we realized the breakfast croissants were all cold in the middle while the Nutella croissants were extremely overdone.

Both times however the coffee was good and was a nice spot for a morning pick me up. I would suggest if you're going here for coffee you should go, but don't order...

Being in Atlantic City for the first time in 15 years, I didn't know what to expect. By far the best café experience I've ever had in Atlantic City! Katie and the entire Hayday staff were simply stellar. It was so good, my partner and I went back on consecutive days!

To start, my partner had a hot oat chai with a touch of vanilla; I ordered a hot oat latte. Then we both ordered the egg croissant. Breakfast/brunch of champions, to say the least. Loved the laid back ambiance, too!
