Bar 32 — Restaurant in Atlantic City

Carl was a great bartender. The drinks were strong & delicious. Easily worth the price. The atmosphere was very nice but I was surprised when our table was the only table in the place on a Saturday night at 8/9pm. The establishment is pretty & clean. I gave 4 stars because I was a little disappointed with the desserts. I got the Brown sugar chocolate chip cookie sandwich but it was nothing special in my opinion. No taste of brown sugar. Very plain vanilla ice cream that was very soft upon arrival, would be better with a French vanilla or vanilla bean. Cookie was cold & hard, would be a huge improvement if it was served hot and gooey. My mother in law got the S'mores desert, also just OK. Felt like it was dry, maybe an option to add Carmel sauce or peanut butter would help. My friend got the death by chocolate, which was the best of the three, but still would be better if brownie was warmed up instead of cold. Felt like deserts were very costly for taste / presentation. An establishment that is truly worth 5 stars in each category. Arrived with a Groupon for 2, entered, and was immediately impressed will Bar 32. Very funky decor, gave off a classic coffee bar vibe. We were greeted right away and took a very comfortable couch near the window.

Staff were very kind, clearly passionate about their work. You could taste the dedication and effort put into each chocolate. Wine matched very well with each piece.

As I sit the Lyft headed back to the hotel I am still enjoying the harmony of the chocolate and wine after taste. A truly exceptional place in AC worth a short 5 mins ride from the broadwalk casinos and 10 mins from Harrahs area. You will not regret a visit. My fiancée and I intend to come back, Groupon or not. This place might have been the highlight of my trip! A friend and I booked a wine & chocolate flight tasting off of Groupon for a great price. Not only was the chocolate amazing, especially paired with the wine but the service was absolutely fantastic. We were the only people in the bar (we walked in at open) so it was nice and quiet and there was a great atmosphere already set. they were so friendly, and really amplified the experience. I wish we weren’t just here on a weekend getaway because I want to be a regular customer. Definitely check this place out, and try the Death by Chocolate drink. It was amazing!
