Steel's Fudge — Restaurant in Atlantic City

Extremely disappointing experience. I walked in hoping for a pleasant treat, but what I got instead was rudeness and complete lack of professionalism. The girl behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge me—no greeting, no smile, nothing—even after I politely said hello first. She acted like I was bothering her just by being there.

Worse, she wasn’t wearing gloves while handling the fudge, which is just basic hygiene. She used the same knife to cut multiple flavors, with no regard for potential allergies—imagine someone with a peanut allergy ordering vanilla fudge and unknowingly getting cross-contaminated. That's not just careless, it's dangerous.

When I asked a simple question, her response was a dismissive and rude “huh?”—no manners, no professionalism. Whatever happened to “Sorry, could you repeat that?”

And to top it all off, the fudge wasn’t even worth it. Bland, overly sweet, and definitely not fresh. With such poor customer service and subpar products, this place has lost my business. There are plenty of better spots with friendly staff and cleaner practices—I’ll be going there...

Went to the facility at 10:45 Thursday evening was supposed to stay open till 11 p.m. doors were locked girl said oh we're closed already I said I thought you closed at 11 proceeded to call the phone number and spoke to the manager Steve he said he closes accordingly if it's not busy even though they're supposed to close at 11 ask the owner's name he said Mr steel he was very evasive and seemed like he didn't care Steve and the staff were giggling in the background this place is unprofessional I'm waiting to get a call back from the owner do not purchase anything from this rude on attentive staff they all...

Went in for fudge and candy . Young lady behind the counter never said Hello, even after I said Hello to her. She was rude and did not have any gloves on at all . Cut the fudge with the same knife even different flavors.( what if I had a peanut butter allergy and wanted vanilla fudge , she used same knife as she did for customer before me ) I asked a question and her reply was “ huh” ?? What ever happened to excuse me I didn't hear you , or could you repeat that. The fudge was not that good any way . Customer service is the key theses days and she lacks it a lot. I will be going else where...
