Firewaters Saloon Atlantic City — Restaurant in Atlantic City

Firewaters is quite the nice surprise for a casino bar. An excellent beer, bourbon, and cocktail list, reasonable prices (especially considering its locale), and friendly service. It seems to be a country music bar, which is emphatically NOT my preferred music genre, but some of the honky-tonk music they were playing was pretty entertaining, but still would have preferred some rock and roll or alternative playing in the background.

The place was relatively uncrowded on a Sunday afternoon but that was just fine. Didn’t get to try the food but it looked pretty interesting.

Nice to have a friendly, quality beer and whiskey bar at the Trop. Now, about that...

An instant favorite bar of mine now! My friend took us here while visiting Tropicana and my first time in AC in a long time. I'll make sure to stop again every time. After paying outrageous prices for drinks at casinos, it was refreshing to get great drinks for literally half the price we paid earlier at another casino bar. The bartenders were very prompt and fun to talk to. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night in April but we enjoyed the atmosphere while watching a hockey game on the TVs....

This place is the most underrated place I've ever been to. I've been to the Tropicana so many times and the location keeps this a hidden gem. I dont know if is the life size bear statue, the bar stools that are actually saddles or the modest dance floor and country music. If they had a better location like they deserve they would be the hottest spot in the TROP.
