Yung'ster Joos — Restaurant in Atlantic City

On February 15th, 2025 I had the weirdest, most unpleasant experience at Yung’ster Joos. My boyfriend and I walked into the store, we were very friendly, in admiration of the juice spot, and was greeted by who I thought were seemingly nice people. They acknowledged how we were the first customers of the day. From context I gathered it was a grandmother and a granddaughter. Long story short I spent around $55, waited 45 minutes or more and the customer service was POOOR. Two customers came in after us and ordered two açaí bowls. I had already placed my order for a smoothie and a bowl. For some odd reason the two customers AFTER us, had their orders made before us. I was then asked again what my order was and was told it was coming. When I asked the girl who took my order how is it that the two people after us had their orders made before ours, especially when she is taking/ making the orders, and both of our orders were made to order, the girl proceeded to be short and catch an attitude with me. She was JUST NOW starting my order after 30-40 minutes. After catching an attitude she completely stopped making my order and left the other lady, her grandmother, to make the bowl and smoothie. The grandmother gave me an overfilled bowl that was sloppy and made a mess in the bag. And when I asked about my smoothie, she proceeded to say I have to wait some more time because new customers came in and she needed to take their order. I’m so confused at how a paying customers, who already waited 45 minutes for an order that was forgotten, spent $55, still had to wait MORE time because new customers came in. It is a known understanding that my order should have been fully completed and I should have been on my way before new customers who hadn’t waited and haven’t paid were prioritized. Amazing juice and smoothie bar in AC. I love the acai bowls. They also have delicious wraps and salads. Its a great place for lunch, brunch or dinner. I love a good girl dinners and I am into eating as healthy as possible but I need flavor. They have the flavor. Everything here is delicious. They also have sea moss shots and larger jars you can purchase so you can add in into your daily regime. The sea moss also has different flavors to choose from (my favorite is mango) that are freshly made to order. The food is fresh, the service is excellent. Going to the actual space, it is a beautiful space. Love the atmosphere. My go-to for protein shakes, fresh juice shots and teas.
