Although the food tasted good (once we got it), the service was HORRIBLE. Unfortunately, it's no surprise. The 4 young high school/early college-age employees running the mall store were completely oblivious, disconnected, & irresponsible.
These employees let 3 of their friends cut in front of those of us who were trying to patiently wait to order (about 4 of us). They were more concerned with chatting & messing around with these 3 guys instead of attending to the customers.
From where I was in line, it looked like they gave them free food & drinks as well. The girl @ the grill & the one assembling the sandwiches were blatantly flirting with these 3 guys & doing nothing to get the food out quickly. The guy @ the register went back to grab more lemonade, filled the machine, & proceeded to join the conversation for a good 5 mins.
We would've left after waiting 10 mins, but we don't get Charlie's often & were really in the mood for it. It still took another 5-10 mins before we got our food, & after sitting down, found our order was wrong. No matter how much I'm craving a Charley's Cheesesteak, I will NEVER visit this...

Had to point out the price on the menu for the cashier to rectify it as she was confident the price she charged me was correct. Paid with a $20 bill and got change back for a $10. They were adamant I gave them a $10 bill instead of a $20. I know what I gave them, as I didn’t have a $10 bill to begin with. Said they would check the register. Took the register to the back room and it took every single employee, except one (as it was one person left up front with a lineup) to apparently figure out if I paid with a $20 or not and they took their sweet time trying to “figure it out”. That aside, the staff are not the most professional. Eating freely at the counter and on their phones. Definitely won’t return to or recommend this location due to my personal experience. To end it all, I couldn’t even enjoy the sandwich I purchased due to my experience. It all left a very bad taste in my mouth… literally and figuratively. Big thumbs down...

This is by far the WORSE Charles I've been to. My wife and I've been there quite a few times in the recent months. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The employees look as they're being forced to work there. No smiles, no hellos just hands you the food. Today was our last time going. We got to the mall around 10:50 then to Charles around 10:55. We were standing outside the dividers for the line looking at the menu. One of the employees said they were not opened yet. My wife responded we're just looking at the menu. All of the other establishment in the food court opened at 11:00 so we waited for Charley's. We stood there for roughly ten minutes until what I assumed was the manager said they wouldn't be opened for another FIFTEEN because he was doing temperature checks.
