We’ve been here 5 times now over the last 2+ years, it’s by far our favorite Thai restaurant we’ve found so far in the Seattle-Tacoma area. The food quality and taste is excellent, so yummy every time. Decor here is plain, not cute, but it’s always clean here. The servers are nice and the food comes very quickly. Most servers here are not chatty or overly welcoming, which is fine with us as the service is quick and we are here for the food. We’ve been to Thailand dozens of times, and as expected the food is not the same as eating in Thailand, yet most dishes are pretty close and again, taste great! Portions are fairly generous. On our most recent visit in February 2024, two couples shared four different dishes, two sides of steamed rice, and one sticky rice, only tap water to drink, and the bill was $74 including tax but not tip. Dishes were Phad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) with beef which I am addicted to, Prik Khing, Tom Kha soup, and the green papaya salad Som Tom which is super fresh and good. The chef is maybe understandably reluctant to make things too spicy hot, when we ask for the hottest level (here, number 5 we believe) and challenge them to make it too spicy, they have not yet reached how hot we like it, but yeah it’s pretty hot. So if you truly like spicy hot, you have to stress that I guess. We love this place, highly...

The food is fine but the customer service needs some improvement. I had placed an order with GrubHub and received a call from I'yara at 9:06pm telling me the restaurant is closed at 9:00pm, the delivery driver isn't coming, and they can either cancel the order or they can leave it outside for us to pick up. I told them that I understood that it's not their fault that the delivery driver didn't show up but could they please have someone wait at the restaurant for us to come get the food so it's not sitting outside unattended in the cold. The employee told me that everyone is leaving and it isn't their job to wait to give us our food. Even though this issue wasn't their fault, I am still a customer buying food from your restaurant and it wasn't my fault that this issue occurred either. I appreciate that they did call to let me know (after they had already closed) but they didn't provide any actual solution to the problem. Please update your business hours on GrubHub so your customers aren't allowed to order 15 minutes prior to closing to avoid these issues in the future. GrubHub, on the other hand, was professional and refunded our money and provided us credit towards a...

I work at Boeing in Auburn, and I'yara Thai Cuisine is a fantastic restaurant to go to for Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Basil Fried Rice. The flavors are wonderful! These are the dishes I enjoyed during lunch with my wife, but I believe all the foods are fantastic based on the aroma of the kitchen.

It could be an easily five-star restaurant if these things would add up for me as a customer and Local Guide. 1). As soon as I walked in the door, the waiter acknowledged me, but there was no greeting. I spotted my wife, went and sat with her (I asked my wife to meet me there for lunch). 2). The waiter gave us the menu, then took off. I’m already 10-15 minutes sitting down at the table waiting (cutting into my 30 minutes lunchtime). My wife spotted the waiter in the back, waved at her, and asked if we can start ordering the food. 3). Food came, placed on our table (silence). I thanked the waiter and asked her for the chili sauce. 4). Once done, she never came back to check on us, and we had to locate her so we can pay for our food.

The food is good, but due to a lack of customer care,...

I'yara Thai Cuisine in Auburn is a true gem for both Thai cuisine enthusiasts and vegetarians alike. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with a focus on satisfying VEGETARIAN options. My personal favorite, the vegetarian Singapore noodles, showcases the chef's expertise in transforming this classic dish into a delightful meat-free version. The blend of perfectly seasoned rice noodles and a colorful assortment of vegetables creates a flavorful and satisfying experience. The commitment to catering to vegetarian preferences adds an extra layer of appeal to an already outstanding menu. With inviting ambiance and attentive staff, I'yara Thai Cuisine is a top choice for a memorable dining experience that seamlessly combines authenticity and deliciousness.
