El Paso Tacos & Tequila — Restaurant in Augusta

Came here twice and both times the service was extremely slow even though the restaurant itself wasn't that busy, a lot of employees standing around talking to each other at the hostess stand. Both times most of the food wasn't even warm, portions are small, and incorrect food as well. Order a beef burrito and got a burrito with only beans in it, takes forever to get your server back to tell them the food is wrong and then a long wait just to get it to come back incorrect again. Then they don't care and just give you your check and you pay high dollar for Taco Bell quality junk you didn't even eat and you told them wasn't right. Even when you show them it wasn't what you ordered the first time they look at you baffled and have an issue with fixing it, so when it comes back wrong the second time you're on your own I guess. It may not be a major chain as in over 100 locations but it is still just another chain and you're getting chain quality food. The garnishes in the drinks are even frozen solid. Nothing is fresh here. At least if the staff here cared and tried I would be a bit more apt to try them again but definitely not. Two tries was enough. Just another restaurant here...

My husband and I just visited this location for the first time and our experience was UNPLEASANT!! At first we were very excited to try this establishment per we love Mexican food. We were greet warmly and seated with no problem. However we did request to be seated in the front of the restaurant with a view of broad street. We were granted and was served chips and black bean dip with menus. That was it. We sat there for 15 mins and not one came to greet us or take out order. Wasn't busy. We watched 2 parties be seated and immediately a server was at their table BUT not ours. So we decided to leave. On my out I stopped and asked a gentleman with a red shirt on who is the server for our area and he asked me if I seated myself🙄. Of course not, we were seated and that's it. I received the most unapologetic apology EVER. I felt he could care less that our experience was trash and that we were leaving. If this is how this establishment will resolve issues of poor customer service I will never come back here. If anyone ask me about this place, I will let them know to NOT waste their time per they do not care about certain people. Very...

Most of the items were "out of stock", including all seafood, spinach, and burgers. We were not told that the items were out of stock until after we ordered. We were offered to substitute the seafood burritos for an item of equal price that was supposed to include shrimp but they didn't inform us that they still couldn't put shrimp on it. When the food did arrive items were missing and not as described on the menu and the portions were tiny compared to the pictures on the menu. The food was disgusting and overall a let down. My first cup was cracked and leaked all over the table. The second cup was still cracked but was not leaking. My wife never even received her food. The manager was confrontational and refused to cancel the orders after we found about the above issues. Nobody should go here, it's a waste of money and they are more concerned with sticking you with a bill for something you don't want than trying to provide good service.
