Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Aurora

I love coming here especially during events such as birthdays and whatever get together we may have; even a fast but quick lunch date. I always receive fabulous service until last night. I have never been so upset. We got a "New" waitress who was not in the best of moods which I found so surprising when we even tried to joke.. It wasn't funny for her when we asked all the yummy toppings on a burger be placed. She seemed very out of what we asked and showed on the menu. Beef/steak. We get it. Its cow. Chili tacos we didn't even order.. I don't understand how the order was changed but it was enough for me to send the plate back. Half the time during our event i spent the night looking for our waitress that I honestly gave up. Just threw up my hands and grabbed one of our favorite servers; "Shawn and Matt." For simple things. Refill of sodas. More silverware. Napkins.. Things we had been waiting on for over 10 minutes when we asked out server. But it was 10 minutes on every single item we asked. I found it rude the waiter wouldn't even look at me because she was busy looking at a table a few over. We noticed the difference between our table and her other table. She was more on top of that table then us. Fine. Ok. After spending half my night seeking help we asked her to clear the plates for cake. She took the smallest stack and disappeared and while we set up for cake.. We played the waiting game. I had also asked her for little plates, a knife and new silverware. Which nonthing was brought. Dishes weren't cleared. Again I spent more time searching for one of the waiters who helped before. Finally our waiter returned took more plates but broke a dish by one of our children. We got a fast sorry and she was gone. Another 10 minutes passed before she came back to clean the mess.. Which she only picked up the big pieces and left. Not the fact we couldnt get napkins or anything to clean off our purses or my daughter's shoes. That was upsetting. Again she was at her preferred table chatting and laughing but our table was honestly to big of an inconvenience for her. It is not my job to be behind her. I made it really easy to order by grabbing everyones order myself and repeated it to. From drinks. To appetizer. And dinner itself. I understand being new. I understand having a bad day but you try really hard to give it your all. We opted out of giving her a tip.. Had she been with at least a better attitude or at least not having me hunt her down half my night.. It would of been different. I forgot my diaper bag and when I returned with my infant minutes later the waiter got into my face about her tip. Instead of pulling me aside which should not even be an option, she yelled and I felt she was gonna throw a punch; i did tell her my experience with her was not the greatest. She gave me all her excuses. I told her i did understand but this is a job. Its her job to make sure we are happy. Unfortunately after all of that.. We arent. It was upsetting. She did yell and stormed off about karma coming back to get me and more.. Thats fine. Unprofessional. Very unprofessional. But that's fine. I did speak to a manager shortly after because that was ridiculous. Let alone the fact I felt very threatened while I held my infant. I can honestly say we will be returning and we hope that our next event will...

This was my first Chili's I visited many, many, many years ago. It's still one of my favorite locations to dine at. The menu literally has something for everyone to enjoy. All ages, all dietary options, the menu is expansive and one of my top five favorite dine in restaurants. If you join their email club, you often receive free salsa and chips, queso and of course birthday freebies. The chips and salsa are hands down my favorite chips and salsa, rivaling every Mexican restaurant I've eaten at! Some of my favorites are the Sante Fe chicken salad, the spicy chicken sandwich, the Sante fe appetizer egg rolls, basically any of their burgers. My husband's go to are the ribs. I can't say enough good things about the food choices...or the drinks.... From nonalcoholic flavored te and lemonade choices to the amazing margaritas! I only have a couple sad face things. The PARADISE PIE dessert that was removed from menu, then brought back, then removed again. I Very Rarely order desserts anywhere. If I do, I have to eat it first or take home because I can never eat one after a meal....except for this one. It is the only dessert ever that I could and did eat every visit. Sometimes before my meal, as my meal and even after my meal. I Always ordered the paradise pie and often bought extra to go. Please, please bring it back! My other minor fuss is I always greatly appreciate when the chips and salsa are done freshly versus bagging the leftovers when we get them to go after dining in. I feel it should be a consistent thing. As I mentioned I started my Chili's experience at this location and I come to this one as often as I can even though it is now quite a drive for us. I can truly only think of about three times where my dining experience was a bit iffy. Other than that, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the cleanliness are always appreciated. .....Just need that paradise pie to make it...

Let me start by saying the customer service was amazing,  our waiter was really sweet and amazing. He was very helpful and always made sure we were enjoying our time, just above and beyond service! He was also taking care of a neighboring table and he was super sweet and helpful to this couple who had a food mishap near us (It was hard to not overhear); he was very amicable and I thought it was some over and beyond customer service hard to find in the land of Colorado. The Blooming onion we had unfortunately didn't come in a literal tower but it was still a real treat. The food was really good and I felt at ease knowing that if I had something didn't come out as I wanted it to, that I had a more than willing waiter who would try to rectify the situation with as little as problems as possible. I most definitely will be returning to this lovely restaurant!

Update as of 3/14/22: The service was amazing, our waitress was beyond amazing. She made sure our orders were taken in a very timely manner, she was handling numerous orders and she distributed the service evenly with grace. Our food was perfect and prepped as desired. She made sure it drinks stayed filled and anything we asked, she grabbed with no problems at all. It was a wonderful time here and it's worth every penny!

Updated (4/4/22): Service was still amazing, out waitress was wonderful despite it being pretty busy when we went. I recommend their recently added starter appetizers fried mozzarella. It was delicious with the perfect crunch when you bit into it and the cheese was magnifique! Now the real issue is picking the perfect time to come when it's not so busy, because it's...
