Going forward, I will stop coming to this location EVER. I have been a different Dos salsa locations all over Austin. This is the worst ever. The reason is the staff does care about your safety and wants to make sure you get home safely. I get it 100%.

This is out of control. Rey the manager is Amazing but William the assistant manager calls himself very "inappropriate" he knocks on my car door window with the bartender Isela (I don't know why the bartender was down there when I paid and left her a good tip). and tells me "I can't let you drive, would you like me to call you an uber?". Excuse me? I'm in my own car (that's a property of mine) and wouldn't let me leave! I asked them to call the cops if they think I'm drunk because I wasn't. At that point, I had to catch a flight to LA for an important business meeting. I'm highly frustrated and scared and felt ganged up on with the bartender there and William standing there. I told him I'm okay to drive and he said no you're not. I immediately started recording him because I felt fear for my own safety. Coming from a domestic abusive relationship. I asked for his manager Rey and Rey was very professional with me and wanted to make sure I was alright to leave and drive. I told him yes, I'm okay to drive. He let me go and guess what I made it safely to the airport.

This is due to William's behavior towards me and I fear for another woman's safety around him in the parking lot around him and random employee staff showing up. I have never EVER BEEN APPROACHED LIKE THAT! I will let all of my friends and family know to not come to this...

I recently visited Dos Salsas in Austin, and I have to say, it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming — the kind of place that immediately puts you in a good mood.

We were lucky to have Adolfo as our server, and he made the entire experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive without hovering, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. He checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks full, and made excellent recommendations. You can tell he really cares about his guests having a great dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the fajitas — easily some of the best I’ve had in Austin. They came out sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender, juicy meat and fresh grilled vegetables. The flavor was incredible — smoky, savory, and just the right amount of spice. The tortillas were soft and warm, and the toppings (guacamole, pico, sour cream, and cheese) were fresh and generous. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it was clear everything was made with care.

The portions were also impressive — definitely enough to share or to take home leftovers for later. I also loved their salsa bar; both salsas had great flavor and complemented the fajitas perfectly.

Between the delicious food and Adolfo’s top-notch service, Dos Salsas has officially become one of my go-to spots for Tex-Mex in Austin. If you’re in the area and craving authentic, flavorful fajitas, you absolutely have to try this place. And if you get Adolfo as your server, you’re in for an even better experience —...

We held our annual Christmas party there on Dec. 16.

Yadi, the manager, accommodated us with the nice, well lit, inside patio area; TVs were adjusted to our liking; requested music was piped in, and the temperature was adjusted as requested. (It was a bit chilly that day.) Yadi also allowed us to decorate as we pleased. We did..

Our sole server, Daniel E., was terrific! He got every order correct the first time. He was kind, pleasant, patient, and maintained a great attitude. (I've attended large parties of friends at other restaurants and shortly after the appetizer, the server(s) looks frazzled!)

We ordered from the open menu. The food was on point. I've been to Dos Salsas probably three times before, but several people who had never eaten there commented on how delicious the food was.

Everything was done with excellence and a great attitude. Gratuity was applied, and we left an additional very nice tip.

I don't know if we will have another Christmas party there again, because the people may choose a different place, but I know I will definitely be back... and bring someone new with me to...

This place was great !!!! The service was pretty bad at first but the GM stepped in and served us and she did wonderful!!!! The food is fantastic. We started with 4 of the queso and brisket dips and I will never find something like that at home in IN. And that makes me sad😭 they were absolutely phenomenal!! The cocktails were also pretty strong and reasonably priced. For my entree I ordered the fried chimichanga with ground beef and chilli sauce. I usually go for the chicken but the chilli sauce was really good and I'm glad I made this selection. The charro beans were also good and flavorful with bacon added for flavor.. they were a step above for sure. My bf got the fish dinner that was also cooked perfectly. The salsa verde that is served w the chips has a small kick to it but nothing that stays w you and the red salsa is homemade and very mild, it's good also. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable and there are alot of regulars that keep returning for good reasons !! I thought the queso blanco had my heart but this yellow Texas queso might have just changed my mind !!!! Do NOT miss out on the brisket queso !!!!

Review Title: No Salsa – Full Disappointment in a Grand Setting Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Review: We walked in with high hopes because the building is grand and the space is beautiful — you’d think the food would match that vibe. Unfortunately, it was a total letdown. The tacos, enchiladas, rice, beans, and even the tortilla soup were bland and flavorless. The food just didn’t live up to the impressive setting. The salsas were the biggest disappointment. We got three different kinds and not one of them had any spice or real flavor. It was like dipping into watered-down tomato sauce. Honestly, the place should be called No Salsa. When a Mexican restaurant can’t get the salsa right, it sets the tone for everything else. In the end, the lovely space is just a wasted opportunity. The staff was friendly, but that can’t make up for food this disappointing. We left having to plan another birthday lunch somewhere else to make up for it. Honestly, I have no idea how they stay open. Not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I love coming to Austin to try new restaurants. From my experience, I have found that the key to finding great Mexican restaurants is that their name is in Spanish and not English. Dos Salsas lived up to my theory. They are located on the 2nd floor, you can take the stairs or elevator. It’s a very large, clean, traditional restaurant. I was seated reasonably quick. Tortilla chips with red and green salsa (Dos Salsas, like the name!) were quickly served. As much as I liked the red salsa, the green one was even better. I ordered chicken fajitas. They came out sizzling a short time later. The portions were very generous and I knew I would be taking food with me. My waiter Dennis did a great job as he was very attentive. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend Dos Salsas to everyone.
