Are you read to pay $13 for a 7 in soggy sub swimming in mayo, salad (or chili) and a drink? Or $11 for sub, chips and a drink? When I got it I first thought "Is this all I get?" The service was okay and quick enough since there was absolutely no one else in line and only one other customer in the store. The quality, quantity, and price description needs a lot of change. $7.50 for a soggy 7 inch (about that I guess) sub that is swimming in mayo. Did I mention it had to much mayo? Also, I did a build-your-own which is listed at 6.49 but ended up being 7.49 because I got meat. It doesn't say "Veg for 6.49, meat extra." And when they list prices of what you can add it not entirely clear there either. $2.99 to add chips and a drink. So after taxes it's now $11 for a combo with sub-par ingredients. Further down the price listing it says "$2 more to add chili and a drink." $2 more to the price of the sub or $2 more for the $2.99. I love the firehouse hero sub. It is my favorite sub. I ordered that (large) and the steak sub (small) one day and i ordered both the same exact way online but one was made correctly the other not. I was told i had ordered it with everything on it. Im a meat and cheese only girl and my other sub was correct so i think it was a system issue. Also regarding system issues, i ordered online to save time during my 30 minute lunch break. I ordered two different orders with the same card but the system didnt accept my payment method online or i somehow managed to type in the same card info incorrectly twice. I wasnt notified via email text or phone that the paykent was not received so i couldnt make sure the info was corrected and when I arrived i had to wait for my food to be made. Isnt order related issues why we have to provide a phone number online? So overall the visit was not a good one this time. I will be fair and say that this is not the norm for firehouse subs and they could have been having online ordering issues. But my lunch was...

I have been 2x now and have had a small meatball sandwich on garlic bread both times. It's delicious! The first time I had chipd. This time I had a small salad. I wanted that sub all day!! I thought about it multiple times. It was so good I likely will want it again tomorrow. I love that the salad was amazing and beautifully prepared. A wheel of ingredients on top of my bed of lettuce with exactly the right amount of dressing. I love that there are multiple hot sauces to choose from but my sub needed nothing it was so perfect. The people provide great service and the place was clean. It has a lot of to go orders. I was the only person who ate there. The place is cute with their dalmatian print table tops, and clean. The employees were polite and friendly. Oh and they use compostable salad bowls!!! I LOVE that. I hate getting salads almost everywhere because it's a Styrofoam box or 2 pounds of plastic.
