This review is of the staff and their lack of courtesy and plain disregard for the City of Austin noise Ordinance. On a Wednesday night (2/22/19), I was awakened by an extremely loud generator type noise. I live on the fourth floor of the building adjacent to Jinya, the restaurant shares an alley-way with my apartment building in the Domain, a mixed use (commercial & residential) area. According to the City of a Austin code of Ordinances section 9-2-3(2), mixed use development areas must observe the noise ordinance, with no loud noises after 10:30pm through 7:00am (on week nights). At 11:15pm I woke up from the ridiculously loud noise, (you all know how loud power-washing equipment is) and subsequently investigated. Jinya had hired a contractor to power-wash their griddles from their kitchen. I took photos and videos, and then went downstairs to ask the gentlemen to please stop and observe the noise ordinance. After a 10 minute discussion of educating both the contractor and a Jinya employee who had come outside, they said they would stop. Then, 20 minutes later, they started up again. Clearly they felt the inconvenience to them was of more importance than following a City ordinance, and letting residents get a full night's sleep. They continued to power wash outside in the alley until 1:00am. This resulted in me sleeping for less than 4 hours, so thank you Jinya, for putting yourself first and the community you operate in last. For your customer's sake, I hope you sanitize those griddles before cooking on them again. I will be emailing your corporate office to report this event, and will immediately report any future violation to Austin PD. All violations come with a mandatory fine, and repeated violations can result in the suspension or revocation of your business licenses. Please consider the risk you're running next time you decide to ignore a resident's request that you observe the City noise ordinance, and educate your employees on this as well.

Despite our hurried visit to Jinya Ramen Bar, the experience left a lasting impression, primarily due to the superb broth they serve. Even with our attention divided and preoccupied with other matters, we couldn't help but appreciate the remarkable quality of their ramen.

We sampled a variety of options from the menu, including the Shrimp Wonton Ramen, Jinya Chicken Ramen, and Karaage Chicken Ramen. Amidst our distractions, one aspect remained consistently outstanding—the broth. It was undeniably exceptional, boasting rich, savory flavors that elevated the entire dining experience.

The Shrimp Wonton Ramen presented plump shrimp wontons bathing in a broth that could only be described as heavenly. The intricate blend of seasonings in the broth showcased the kitchen's attention to detail and their commitment to delivering a memorable dish.

In the Jinya Chicken Ramen, the tender chicken slices harmonized beautifully with the delectable broth. Despite our distractions, the quality of the broth shone through, providing a comforting and satisfying experience.

Even amidst the busy atmosphere, the Karaage Chicken Ramen managed to impress. The crispy karaage chicken added a delightful texture, and the broth seamlessly tied all the components together. It was evident that the same care and dedication went into crafting this dish as with the others.

Though our visit was rushed, the broth at Jinya Ramen Bar left a lasting impression. Despite being unable to fully immerse ourselves in the experience, the undeniable quality of the broth and ramen prevailed. It left us eager to return when we can truly savor and appreciate every aspect of their ramen offerings.

The flavors and quality of their ramen make Jinya Ramen Bar a place worth revisiting when you have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the culinary journey they...
