I stopped in here recently and was super excited that there was a candy store at the domain finally (there are actually multiple candy stores in this area). Instantly fell in love with the place because of all the variety of items. It just makes you happy when you get in there. I can only imagine what children feel like going in here. They have a bunch of special items, like KidRoBot Yummy world items. I selected a few items to purchase and waited in line. This is where the whole experience went downhill. They had two registers opened and only one of them accepted card. The lady that had been in line at the credit card register was there for at least 10-15 minutes prior to me even getting in line. I didn't know that only one machine was accepting credit cards until I had already bagged my candy, otherwise I would have left. They couldn't even get the register situation figured out. It was a nightmare, they had to manually enter in each barcode... sigh. I ended up putting back all of my other items and just get the candy and resorted in paying in cash. It was extremely frustrating and a massive let down when I had been looking forward to this...
Read moreTerrible and rude staff. My boyfriend and I went on a date at the domain and decided to go to IT'SUGAR to get some candy. When we went in and he got a scooper, the teenager working there took the bowl of candy from us and said not to get that from the bowl. I was shocked but we just continued and kinda laughed at the situation. Afterwards, we had gotten candy, but were on a budget, when we went to the counter another teenage worker said that is was $20. That was over our budget so we just said we'd leave and not get the bag. But he said we had to buy it. Being a 15 year old scared of confrontation I just said fine and pulled out my wallet. Keep in mind within this time period we added no candy to the bag, so it should cost the same. But instead he this time said it would cost $36. I had about $12 left for dinner and we were lucky enough the pizza place let us give them all we had and we got a pizza. Its sad that people think they can take advantage of people younger than them. I would not recommend this place at all. The workers have been extremely rude...
Read moreFun spot to peruse and get some candy. My son had a blast checking out all the extra large gummy stuff. He picked a gummy pizza and felt baller after cutting it up into slices. I had to negotiate with him and purchase a slice from him to get to taste it. :) It was very good with fruity flavors and soft gumminess. Notable: I was shocked by the soft and flavorful grapefruit gummy bears. Delicious! There are gf, df, vegan, and vegetarian options. Just read the labels on the containers to check it out. Watch out for wheat starch and corn syrup...
