Are people picking food up (or eating there) not asking for their orders to be corrected? If you didn’t want mayo, ask for one without! What’s the big deal?
Looks from other reviews like there unfulfilled delivery promises, but I ate there and it was great (though not cheap…but nothing is these days). I went on a Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. or so, so it was very quiet and even empty at times (I had some time I had to kill).
The guys up front were really nice and not slovenly (I’m over 50 so it’s NOT like they were flirting! Just very nice) and I stood right there and piled on all sorts of ingredients, including free extras of some…like Subway but more fun and the stuff just seemed fresher and the tomatoes 🍅 not so paper thin. Pickles were suggested…yes! I got my money’s worth, I guess!!!
The cashier pointed out that a big cookie or some kind of salad were options in place of chips (I hadn’t seen those options) so I got pesto pasta salad, which was good but too rich for me. My 8” sub was great and I drank two sodas and got one to go. (Ladies room very clean and there was a hilarious sign on the floor…you’ll have to go.) Maybe I was lucky that day…good experience.
Very ODD that there’s a plastic surgeon connected to the store…odd for the surgeon, not for...
Read moreI certainly don’t want this business to go anywhere and I appreciate that JJ’s is on Burnet, but the service here has got to change. I’ve lived in this area for about a year now and as a result I almost exclusively visit this location when I want Jimmy John’s. It’s been a handful of times now that I’ve come and every time the employees seem unhappy to be there. This is unique to the Burnet location as I’ve loved JJ’s for a long time and always have good service at other locations. However, at the Burnet JJ’s the employees seldom greet you, avoid eye contact and rush you in and out in a rather unfriendly way. I have never seen this location busy and I am starting to understand why: the employees seem to behave as if they are being abused somehow. There is either poor management, poor training, or the employees aren’t getting paid enough/opportunities for advancement. I know retail is hard and sometime people have to hustle, but if you’re gonna be in a customer facing position, please remember the impact you can have on the world around you, both positive...
Read moreAfter submitting my compliant [see below] online to the Jimmy John's website, I was contacted the next day by somebody with corporate. He confirmed the issue and asked who the manager on duty was at the time. He then said he would contact the store and solve the issue. Two days later I received a gift card in the mail for 5 times the cost of my missing item. Jimmy is working hard to make sure their customers are treated right, and I will be back!
[Part of my order was missing, called the store and didn't ask for them to make another delivery, only asked to not be charged. Spoke to the manager who told me that I would have the cost credited to my account. He lied. Next order I made, 3 days later, did not have the promised credits. Will not be ordering from Jimmy John's anymore. Won't spend money at dishonest or deceiving companies that lie just to get people...
