Potbelly — Restaurant in Austin

I've always enjoyed potbelly, 1st time at this current location. I was not very happy with the service. The cashier rang up my order (big turkey, cup of soup and a drink) I handed him my card, I receive my receipt and card back only to see that I've been charged for macaroni and cheese instead of soup, Not to bad. Then he ask after I had already paid if I had the soup I said no, he looked down at the terminal and starts doing something. I ask if there was an issue he said no. After about 30 seconds he says "ok! Thank you." I then ask about my soup, the cashier states what soup? Dude seriously I just told you before when he had asked about the macaroni. He sighed and then proceeded to throw soup into the cup and tossed it to me which was very rude. I wasn't upset until the very end, he didn't apologize for over charging me, and was very rude and short when I asked for my soup. I've never had such bad service with potbelly, and most definitely will not...

Used the curbside option but had to pick up inside it was a inconvenience ...so just be aware that im guessing if its rush hour (12) u gonna have to leave your car. I got the pick 2 option it was 12:39pm i picked the broccoli cheese soup ..it was more like a dip . It was thick ..i mention the time because shouldnt this be the time to have it creamy? The soup looked like 2 pm soup that been sitting there since 12pm. The half sandwhich i picked was the wreck i added hot peppers ,lettuce and onion as well as oil and Italian seasoning. The size was great the roast beef they added was medium rare and warm so it kinda grossed me out ...it had a funny texture kinda like dollar tree steak. The peppers are not a joke add with caution they are not pickeled...they are just hot with no flavor..the bread was bomb...for $9+ it was a decent meal. Id order from here again but would try...

They have tasty sandwiches and are a good value. However I frequently order online and on multiple occasions I have had to wait 5 minutes or more just for an employee to hand me the bag with my sandwich. My order is ready when I arrive but I literally stand there and stare across the counter at the bag with my sandwich, watching for several minutes as it gets cold while I wait for an employee to acknowledge me and hand me the bag. Great sandwiches but please improve your process for getting customers their online orders. Having to wait upwards of five minutes at the counter just to have someone hand me my bag on the other side of the counter is inexcusable. I am sure with just some minimal training, the store can do so...
