sweetgreen — Restaurant in Austin

This was by far the worst experience I have had with food delivery. Sweet Green unfortunately has lost a customer. 0 stars if I could. I placed an order at 741pm. I checked on order status at 929pm. It stated ‘waiting on a courier.’ I contacted Sweet Green and they said they are looking into it. I checked back on the website 10min later and miraculously the website FALSELY stated that my order was delivered. I sent a picture to Sweet Green of me standing outside my door and showed no order at my door step at 954pm. The Dasher called me and stated ‘I am close’….I said excuse me? So you haven’t delivered the order. He said ‘I am close.’ And then he hung up on me when I asked how close. I let Sweet Green know that I demand a refund as it was now past 10pm and no food arrived despite FALSELY claiming my food order was completed. This is unacceptable, dishonest, and a shame. The Sweet Green texted me they too thought it was unacceptable and will let their delivery service know - but unfortunately I think this is ‘passing the buck.’ Sweet Green makes a good salad - but the poor and unreliable delivery service is a reflection of them. I will be deleting the app and finding alternative salad plans! After waiting over 2.5 hours for a $26 salad - I think other options sound excellent. Of note - if this was a single isolated incident, one should just forgive and forget. But this has not been an isolated event with Sweet Green. The app will be deleted. Order at your own risk. I hope you have better luck than I did. But don’t say I...

Um... I enjoy the sweetgreen on south congress very much but the one here at guadalupe sucks... Sorry... Ordered a doordash delivery custom bowl, asked for extra broccoli and paid extra as well, got a few cold, undercooked hard stems and no trees... Seriously? The mushrooms were dried out but heavily seasoned and really oily...very little red onion as well even though for some reason ended up paying extra for that, unsure why because we only had sweet potato, mushroom, blue cheese, broccoli x2, kale, quinoa and red onion as toppings... So that makes only the broccoli and sweet potato reg toppings I presume, why would red onion be extra? Idk, just a really weird experience and totally out of character for sweetgreen....hopefully someone...

I was originally deterred from eating here after reading all the bad reviews. However, I recently decided to give it a chance, and I have no idea why these reviews are referring to. I’ve placed pick-up orders online and in person, and I really enjoy the interior aesthetic. Additionally, I really appreciate the use of biodegradable utensils. I wish some other places on Guad would also make this small change. Regardless of environmental practices, their food is really good. This is the salad that I needed but didn’t know that I needed in my life. The location is perfect for UT students, and Sweetgreen‘s presence in whampus is much appreciated given its transparent nutritional info, streamlined ordering process, and phenomenal...
