ThunderCloud Subs — Restaurant in Austin

This is a thundercloud subs…. Don’t expect an amazing 10-15$ super fancy bla bla bla melt. This is the working man’s sandwich shop. The sandwiches are relatively simple but good. It won’t blow you away with flavor but it’ll leave you good and full for a reasonable price.

The woman who served us Maddie was very friendly and charismatic, heck I’m coming back because she’s awesome but the staff seems cool too, the food was good enough for the price and overall if ya want a basic old fashioned sub or sandwich this is the place to go. Also forgot to mention had their corn and pepper soup and it was phenomenal, the soup is why I give it 5* instead of 4*. Overall don’t expect something amazing but it’ll be good enough and you’ll leave there full with a wallet that isn’t too...

Food you can both enjoy & feel good about having eaten, after. That is surprisingly hard to find, even in Austin. I passed up a lot of fried food places and some decent food (with high prices) to end up here twice in a row. The Turkish Delight fills you, gives off a countercultural 60s vibe, and your arteries will thank you. The whole "eating right" thing turns out to be for real. In four months eating like this (mostly DIY food prep at home but similar) I got cholesterol, blood sugar, etc. in line using food, no meds. 8/25 My wife parked in the thundercloud parking lot and went next door to the Pad Thai to put in her co-workers order bc she knew thundercloud would be faster. 5min later Capitol Parking ATX was putting on the boot ... she asked them to stop bc she was going into the thundercloud. They said it would be $150 to remove the boot (that wasn't even on yet) since she was in a hurry she gave them her debit card and then went into thundercloud got her sandwich and for some reason thought she should buy them cookies.... I would like the manager to contact me right away and tell me why this is a legit reason to...
