Mystique Barrel Brewing and Lager House — Restaurant in Baltimore

Nice brewery in the Pigtown neighborhood of Baltimore. The beers were great, lots of different styles on tap- IPAs, a Belgian double, a few stouts, a Flanders Red, a lager, etc. My favorite was the Erised Flanders Red Ale. At 8.5%, it had the perfect balance of sour, flavor, and boziness. The food was also solid- they have a small kitchen with a pickup window. The Bratwurst was spot on and the Pretzel sticks were buttery with a soft crunch. The server was friendly, as were the patrons. Our neighborhood happy hour group was looking for a local brewery to visit for our monthly get together and Mystique came highly recommended. It’s just 3 months old, really nice space, great friendly service, good food from their own kitchen and yep, also a nice beer selection. In addition to our group there were some folks on their own, a group with small children, one with teenagers and even one with a dog, so suitable for just about everyone. We’re looking forward to watching some Orioles games there this spring....

Was so happy to see this place open. The interior is re-done and has a really cool, very Baltimore vibe. The mural on the wall is amazing. There are TVs so you can come watch the game after tailgating! They have a very diverse beer selection, and are adding more to it, so there’s really something for everyone. The beer-tenders are all pretty new so getting their bearings but very nice and helpful. Tom the owner was there to help and answer all of the important questions.
