Savory Grille — Restaurant in Baltimore

Went here for dinner and purchased a cheesesteak, fries, and wings for $18. This was not my first time here. The restaurant has NEW owners so beware you aren’t going to get the usual “savory grille” taste you’re looking for. The cheesesteak was big but it was beyond disgusting it was literally beef with lots of mayo and some lettuce. No seasoning- it just tasted like a mayo sandwich with meat. I took a bite and threw away the sandwich. The wings were humongous but didn’t have any flavor besides the honey drizzled on top (honey old bay flavor)- didn’t eat them either. The fries were very mushy but edible so I didn’t want to throw them away too I ate the fries. The person working was by himself and there was only 1 other customer waiting when I was there so it shouldn’t have made him rush the food and not add seasoning. Overall, the food was 2 stars and a waste of my money. I would give the place a second chance bc it may have been a “bad day” but I’m not too sure if I will. I hope the food gets better. It won’t be the same Savory Grille we know but I hope the food taste...

Well when i went the owner and one if the workers were having a conversation that other’s didn’t need to hear. However, the worker was very friendly when taking my order. Now i saw reviews in this place. Let me say, it wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good. The fries were so soggy that i didn’t eat them at all(and I like soft fries). They looked crisp, but when i bit them..not to mention, i ate some of it there. The fries were room temperature. The cheesecake was way too small for the price. It cost mw about $18-$19 for a 6”sub, fries and can soda. As waited, enough time to have chicken fried, i can hear the worker and owner talking. The language and such was not something outside of their friendship that others should hear. Also, I personally believe that as a manager or owner if someone walks into your business or up to your counter and you are standing there, you should also greet them. The cheesesteak was only okay. Disappointing. If I could leave no stars I would. I contacted this business for an inquiry about my wedding due to my fiance loving their food. However, their lack of response and professionalism sealed the deal for me. I sent various emails asking how to pay for my scheduled tasting and requesting changes to the menu with NO response until I sent a text message and their response was "Sorry we have been busy, ill email the invoice by such and such date." Do you think I received the invoice? NO. The week of my scheduled tasting came around and I received no follow-up about it or confirmation. Therefore it never happened. Here we are almost a month later and they have yet to acknowledge my emails or text messages. I guess they didn't want this opportunity to cater my wedding. Too bad because I heard the food was good.
