Thanks to the manager on site on 8/17/2025, who made things right! Original post: I ordered $71.55 in food here via Toast on Thursday August 14, 2026 at 10:26 PM. Toast does not help with refunds, their website says to contact the partner restaurant for refund help. My order was promised at 10:46 PM. I showed up at 10:46 PM and Taco Town Inner Harbor was closed. They'd apparently been closed a while as the restaurant was dark and homeless guy was sitting on the sidewalk with his back on their door. I'm waiting for the manager to refund my $71.55. I'll update once Taco Town Inner Harbor's manager makes this right.
I called the next day, August 15, 2025 and asked to speak to a manager. The guy who answered the phone asked what the problem was. I told him and he said, "We're busy right now!" and hung up on me.
On August 16, 2025, I phoned again and asked the female employee who answered to speak to the manager. I told her what happened, gave her my Toast order number and my 202 phone number. She said the manager wasn't there, but to look out for a call from a 240 phone number. She said they're not really open until 2AM on Thursdays any more even though the website says so. She said they recently changed to only being open until 2AM on Fridays and Saturdays. She apologized and said I'm not the only on this happened to since they reduced their late night hours. I'm waiting on that call from the manager and the refund of my $71.55 and will update this review...
Read moreI was really let down by this place. The food was practically inedible due to how salty everything was—even the salsa was overwhelmingly salty. The rice and beans were dry and equally over-salted, making it impossible to enjoy the meal.
On top of that, there was an unexpected $3 upcharge for ordering three different taco meats. The menu only mentioned a $3 upcharge for shrimp and carne asada, not for mixing meats in general. If I had known there would be an extra charge regardless, I would’ve just gone with carne asada. The staff explained this as I was paying, but it didn’t make any logical sense.
Online, the price was listed as $10.95 for three tacos, but in-store it ended up being $13.50—and $16.50 after the unexplained upcharge. That kind of pricing inconsistency feels misleading.
Lastly, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and while they had heavy-duty fans running, it was just barely bearable at 74°F. On a hotter day, it would be incredibly uncomfortable to dine in.
I honestly don’t understand how this place has such good reviews. My experience was...
Read moreYesterday, while visiting this establishment, I left a piece of property in the store just as it was closing. This morning, when I called the store about said property, the nice young lady said to me that it was there and I can come pick it up. I live far from there, so it took while to get there. When I got there, I tried to explain to the young lady that I left property there and as I was explaining what happened, the guy on the grill became aggressive and basically said it wasn't there and for me to leave. He didn't even let me finish talking to the young lady and he didn't even look for what I was asking for. It was rude and I feel disrespected because I was told to come get my property just to be treated rudely by some guy I didn't talk to in the first place. So now what am I supposed to do about my property? I came all the way back for nothing. Don't get me wrong, the two ladies I spoke with were very nice but that guy on the grill really needs to be spoken to. The food was...
