The staff is pleasant and attentive. Say, "hi", then go eat elsewhere. They are young and inexperienced. The quaint and rustic is marred by the dingy carpet an 1970s well-worn chairs The Egg and I used to be a pair of good breakfast joints in Dennis and Hyannis. The Dennis location was sold, and I guess this one was too. When my friend asked what kind of spreads they had for the bagels, the girl heard "bread" and rattled them off. When he got her to understand, she said she didn't know, but she could bring out the container. You can chalk it up to language barriers, but its indicative of incomplete training. Also, they only have plain bagels and plain cream cheese. My meal was passable. The pancakes were flavorless and a little dry. The pan fried potatoes were only seasoned with onion. The bacon and sausage were tiny. All of these are easy things to fix if the owners care to, but why are they wrong in the first place?

Went back the next day for breakfast got the cowboy breakfast plenty of hash-browns the eggs were done perfectly sausage bacon and pancakes. Delicious!! We rolled out of the restaurant happy as a clam. Thank you to the waitstaff. The restaurants make over is very nice and clean. See you when we come back to the cape in a few months. Hope the summer brings you great wealth

Cozy little diner with easy parking and a friendly environment. I had the Irish Benny and loved it. The server Kellie was attentive and energetic even at 630am. Definitely will be coming back!

If there was an option to have zero stars, that's what I would be picking. To start, no one came to take our drink order. We should have known by two tables leaving prior to ordering food something was going on. Someone had to find a waitress to come to the table to get our drinks. 15 minutes go by and our actual waitress comes over to take the drink order that had already been placed. We informed her we were ready to just order our food to try and expedite the process. The waitress informed us she would be right back. Another ten minutes go by and our order was finally taken . Keep in mind, the waitress already had a pretty unfriendly tone. We continue to wait for our food to be cooked. Now we've been in the restaurant for an hour and a half. We decide to get up and pay for the drinks we received and relocate to another restaurant. Upon leaving the location the waitress begins to tell us we are "horrible for getting up" and asked if we've ever been in a busy restaurant before. We informed her how long it's been, as she turns to someone in the back stating we are leaving. The individual then tells her to inform us we must pay for the food we did NOT receive. She continues to yell at us in front of the entire restaurant as we walked out the door. Worst experience by far at a restaurant. I'm not an advocate for the customer is always right, but these people need a lesson in customer service. I will NEVER be going back...

If it was possible to leave a no star review for this place I would. I am a local and have watched this place get worse and worse. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! They should just close there doors, but the health department probably will anyways. So first thing is, the place is not that clean and has a strange smell to it, stuff spilled on the floors, tables are sticky, and bugs, and dirty glasses. The next thing is.. Went there with the family to get breakfast, the waitress was horrible and the all around service is terrible, which doesn't make sense seeing I counted 12 waitresses on. The next thing is, there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant and they were already eating yet we waited for 45 minutes and still didnt get our food. I also watched 2 waitresses take plates from the heat light and turn toward the seating area and pick food from one plate to make other plates while not washing there hands and not wearing gloves, which handled money and cleaning up dirty dishes And then realize that they were caught in the act. Needless to say we left without eating. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! Go to another place for breakfast like the Gourmet brunch or The daily paper, where there restaurants are super clean, service is great and food is prepared to your...

Went in on a Sunday around 10. Waiting a few minutes for someone to sit us. Some people found the wait too long and went elsewhere. My girlfriend and I found it to be reasonable. Upon being seated it was several mins to order drinks and several more min for them to arrive. When they arrived we ordered Lobster Benedict and the Texas Toast special. Menu listed Lobster Benny at $27 and Toast special at $14. I requested Corn beef hash instead of bacon with the French toast. The place was not busy. Less than half tables were seated. So we werent impressed with waiting 30 or so min for the food. To my dismay i was given hash browns not corn beef hash. Which i suppose would be more understandable of a mistake if it was busier. No complaints as the food was fine and up to par with average Bfast food. But no syrup was provided, so i just got it myself. Again not a problem for me but reflected in the tip. I was suprisingly charged $4 more for the Toast special than was listed on menu and anothe $1 for the mistaken substitution...which is interesting as i wouldnt expect to pay more if i didnt want meat...but alas the service was slow but friendly. Coffee wasnt bad and with a large OG came...
