Great selection and a fantastic vibe! This place truly stands out if you’re a music lover. They offer a wide variety of music-related products — from classic CDs and rare vinyl records to posters, turntables, and even some vintage collectibles. Whether you're a casual listener just looking for a few albums or a serious collector searching for limited editions, you’re very likely to find something that catches your eye here.
The layout of the store is really inviting, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about music. They’re more than happy to give recommendations or help you find specific items. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, with music playing in the background that really sets the tone and makes browsing even more enjoyable.
I was impressed by how organized everything was — the vinyl section especially was easy to navigate, and they had genres clearly labeled, from classic rock and jazz to indie and modern pop. Prices were reasonable considering the quality and rarity of some of the items.
If you’re visiting Hyannis and love music, this store should definitely be on your list. Whether you're looking to add to your collection or simply want to enjoy a nostalgic walk down memory lane, you’ll leave with a smile (and probably a few new treasures). Highly...
Read moreReview is solely from a selling standpoint. Don’t do it here. Do it on eBay or Discogs. 140+ records and the lowest of low ball offers of $360 TOTAL. That’s $2.45 per record so basically if we’re going off the average from Discogs, which most do, or look at their cost from their distributors, the value of the records were around 5k. That’s just over 7% at 7.2%. Now I know it’s a business. I get it. I do. I’ve built good relationships with multiple stores back where I’m from and they even said the standard is 30% at the minimum and can go up to even 50%. I listed every single record for four hours. Sold ELEVEN records on eBay in 10 minutes for $412 net. So do yourselves a favor, don’t sell here. In terms of buying from here, decent store some pieces are a tad overpriced to where two other stores on Cape were a tad less ($2-3 less). Just so you due diligence and hit all the stores...
Read moreIn two words, this place is really rad. Spinnaker Records has a great selection of posters, CDs, movies, t-shirts, vinyls, and more! Everything you've ever dreamed of needing in order to deck out your room/house/laptop/self, it's there, all inspired by popular (and not so popular) media from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. There's a few very long racks of lots of t-shirts, organized by movie, band, artist, or other. Secondly, if you're looking for vinyls of any kind, this is the place to go. The entire second room is full of rows and rows of records as well as compilations and a clearance rack (25-50 cents each I believe). The guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful, and even just my small interaction with him boosted my opinion of the place. Overall, very very cool place to be if you're able to stop by. Will definitely swing by next time...
