I placed an order through the mobile app. It instructed to me pick up at drive-thru. I go to drive-thru I tell the order taker that I have a mobile order and provide them with a code. I am instructed to pull forward to the second window. Once at the second window, a young lady asks if I had 2 apple pies, to which I reply “No I have a mobile order”. I give her the order number. She closes the window. I sense there’s some confusion because then a male employee comes up and asks what did I order. I tell him bacon McDouble meal and a sweet and sour sauce on the side. He then shuts the window. Another young lady then walks up and asks me again if I had the apple pies. I say no to her also. Another lady walks to the window, I assume she is a manager because her shirt is different from the other employees. She says “we gave you order to someone else, can you pull up to the other window. We have to remake your bacon quarter pounder.” I say no I did not order a quarter pounder. I ordered a bacon Mc double she says “oh well why did he tell me” then she shut the window mid sentence. She then comes back and asks me to pull forward while they remake my food. They remake my food, the manager brings me the food and says “here is your bacon Mc double MEAL” but she does not bring me the drink. I ordered a Sprite I tell her I had a Sprite with that, also. She goes back inside, about 3 minutes passes and she comes back outside with my sprite and a bag. She says you failed to mention to us that you ordered inside. I say no I did not. I ordered in the drive thru. I show her where the mobile app prompted me to go to the drive thru. She says “I know but we need that food back because you gave you the wrong thing”. So I hand her the bag that has a bacon McDouble and medium fry. I also “ask what do you mean you gave me the wrong food?” She says we gave you a bacon quarter pounder. I said no you did not check the bag. She sees that the new bag also has a bacon McDouble . She said we got confused. All the while I got cold food because the entire ordeal took 10 minutes and that food I received had been sitting there the entire time. Terrible customer service.
You will see the photo below with confirmation from the mobile order telling me to go...
Read moreMy blood sugar was extremely low, so I pulled into the drive-through. There were 9 cars in front of me. I got into the line at 7:47 pm. and did not get my food until 8:33. Several other cars left the line bith in front of and behind me. I thought to myself. "Don't get upset they're probably short staffed."
However, when I finally made it to the window, I was handed my food without the drink, which also was not poured. The boy looked baffled as if he had no idea how to pour a drink or that i had the audacity to ask for it. While he figures it out, I did what most people do. I reached into my bag for a fry.
My fries were stone cold. As he handed my drink out to me, I told the boy (while holding the fries out to him) that they were cold. It took him 3 attempts to understand that I said cold, not old, then he asked someone to get me a fry (never taking the cold ones i held out to him)... because they were old... Oof. So I asked if it was going to take long, since I'd already waited a half hour. He said, "Yes, I'm gonna have to pull you up to wait." My sugar was so low by that point I was getting dizzy, so I said never mind, I'll just call corporate since I've waited so long already. The boy made a surprised look at me, then looked at me snidely, as if almost daring me to do it. Wow, service has really gone completely down the hill at this McDonald's. Needless to say, the cold fries were joined by a cold filet of fish. They tasted very 'unappetizing' to say the least.
Overall, there is no excuse for that long of a wait, coupled with being served cold food, then add the attitude of the boy at the window. I'm sure McDonald's doesn't care if one person comes back or not, but I won't go back to that store, even if it were life and death. Close to $10 for all that, when im feeling I should've been paid for my inconvenience and the quality of food, speed, and ...
Read moreI had placed a mobile order on my way, and when I pulled in, there were more than 25 cars between the two lanes that I could see... I muttered a not very nice word under my breath and joined the lane on the right. I was there for around 6 minutes total. Never once did I sit in one place for more than 30 seconds, and for the most part I didn't even have a chance to read a text or open a news article. Not only was the restaurant operating at transwarp velocities, but the employee over the speaker, the employee who gave me my receipt, and the final food hander outer all smiled and were cheery and friendly and genuinely meant it when they instructed the world to construct a nice day for me.
The crew working around 10:15am on March 19th 2021 all deserve a bonus, a raise, or both. I made sure to mention to the friendly woman at the last window how impressed I was with how quickly I zoomed through such a long line and how genuinely nice each person was. I wish I could have had a way to tip, because I would have thrown the only bill in my wallet, a crisp $20, into the jar without thinking twice about it. I'm laid off from covid, and far from rich, and would have wished I could have given more - I was seriously that blown away.
I have never been so impressed with an experience in a fast food restaurant's drive thru in all my life. I hope this review finds it's way to a member of the corporate hierarchy so that praise may be given where it so desperately due; if not then at least a store manager so that they may be given positive feedback to know they are killing it and to keep on keepin' on as a top echelon crew that was so good I let my food get cold to make sure I wrote this review before the hustle and bustle of life rendered my short term memory...
