Vicious Biscuit proved to be a solid breakfast/brunch spot, with delicious, filling food and quick, friendly service. The restaurant has a pretty big menu, featuring both classic breakfast items and unique dishes like shrimp and grits on a biscuit and the Holy City Cubano. *The beignets deserve mention for immediately catching my eye!
The dining room is very spacious and seating options range from hi-tops and booths, to snall and large tables. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, with the owners even actively engaging customers. This created a welcoming, family-friendly vibe and who doesn't want to feel like family?!
Aside from the freshly squeezed orange juice that's served from the counter, the drinks are self serve and the station is located next to an assortment of toppings. My favorites were the honey butter and the peach habanero jam. I'm a bit of a jam snob and found the other options to have a very "commercial" taste. The strawberry was empty, so I was unable to sample it for review.
I ordered the beignets, a Vicious Biscuit and a glass of orange juice. Let's start with the juice - just like it should have tasted... Sun-kissed, fresh oranges. The beignets were insanely delicious and probably the highlight for me! The cream was rich and sweet , the strawberries fresh and flavorful and I really enjoyed the cinnamon cream cheese filling. The leftovers didn't last until lunch, so I guess they were more like dessert lol!
The Vicious Biscuit is their namesake sandwich and very deserving of the title. Packed with delicious flavors like juicy, crispy fried chicken, savory, homemade sausage gravy and sweet, candied jalepenos, and served on a fluffy cheddar and jalapeno buttermilk biscuit. You. Want. To. Order. This!
Overall, a positive experience and I'd certainly return. Vicious Biscuit is an establishment worthy of continued success and...
Read moreFrom the moment I stepped into Vicious Biscuit, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly stylish—think Southern charm meets modern comfort. The energy of the staff and the inviting ambiance make you feel instantly at ease, like you’ve walked into your favorite brunch spot even if it’s your first time.
Now, let’s talk food. The flavors here are nothing short of exceptional. Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with attention to detail. The biscuits? Outrageously good. Flaky, buttery, golden pillows of joy—each bite felt like a celebration of Southern culinary tradition with a bold twist. From savory to sweet, the menu offers a wide range of mouthwatering combinations that are both hearty and innovative.
One of my favorite aspects of dining here is their pay-first system. You place your order at the counter, pay right away, and then settle in to enjoy your meal. It’s such a thoughtful and practical approach—no waiting around awkwardly for the check after you’ve finished eating. When you’re done, you can just pick up and go without any delay. It’s perfect for folks like me who appreciate efficiency without sacrificing the quality of the experience.
There’s something to be said about a restaurant that doesn’t just serve great food but also respects your time and creates a relaxed environment where you can enjoy every moment. Vicious Biscuit has perfected that balance. Whether you’re dropping in for a quick brunch or lingering over coffee with friends, it delivers a consistently wonderful experience.
I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing more people with me next time. If you haven’t tried Vicious Biscuit yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Your taste buds (and your schedule)...
Read moreI’ve been to the new location twice and had very different experiences. We went the Saturday before Mother’s day, got in early and it much of a line. Things went smoothly and staff was friendly. We went again Sunday the following weekend and while the food was just as great, the staff and experience was awful! After yesterday, I’m not sure when we will go back or recommend it. The line was to the door- no big deal, we understood bc we got there at 830. One male, maybe a manager, was walking around saying - probably only a 20 minute wait from here haha! What?! there is only one register and you are walking around doing NOTHING! Try helping your team! No menus in line either so people couldn’t decide what they wanted before getting to the register which definitely slowed it even more. While in line there was a young woman and her daughter waiting in front of us, her husband and other small child went to sit down. Another male, shorter and I assume also a manager because he was also doing nothing but walking around- told the Dad and child they couldn’t sit until they ordered. There were so many tables open so while I did see the note on the tables requesting not do sit until you order- it really wasn’t holding any space because most of the restaurant was open. The female- manager also I assume- was also just walking around and once the dad moved to wait in line with his wife the managers walked around watching that table and the family as if they might try it again. Good lord. Perhaps your management should spend more time helping the staff and customers and the lines wouldn’t get so long! I get it’s a new location and you want good feedback so you are maybe trying to engage the guests, but...
