Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

1st ever that I was disappointed with a location. Drive thru service was not good at all, it was slow & not as friendly. My order taker was nice & I pulled forward to pay. The girl that took my payment was not friendly & happy she was too interested in talking with the girl at the podium, who she said would give me a receipt. When I got next to the podium they kept talking as I looked over, the girl at the podium kept leaning on it, turned her head to the side & said, "did you want a receipt?" Discussed at her attitude I just said no thank you, she turned to the girl taking payment & kept talking as she leaned on the podium where she was the only person in the shade with her umbrella & fan blowing on her. I got to the window in a decent amount of time,, but I sat there waiting for my drink & my shake while I watched 4 cars behind me get food & the girl at the window & one walking food continue to chit chat constantly without acknowledging me sitting there staring for my drink & shake. After delivering 2 cars food my server asked, "any drinks yet" & he was told no. But took food for the next car & did not turn around & even look at me. Then the girl at the window asked if someone was making that shake. She & the lady walking food to cars never acknowledged me watching them & waiting until the lady at the window asked me to pull around & said they would bring my drinks to me, she did not even apologize for me waiting. The other lady walking food to cars never even looked at me or said Boo to me as I sat & observed for at least 3 to 4 minutes. I pulled into the closest parking space & sat for 3 minutes waiting for a drink & a shake while the cars behind me left the drive thru. The girl who came to bring it was the friendliest but was confused, all they told her was, "a car" she said, so good thing I pulled into the 1st available spot. Poor thing, & she is the ONLY person that said My Pleasure. My fries were old & had no salt & I had not received the ketchup I requested. I did not even get a receipt to be able to go online & leave a comment on my experience. They really need to train these kids better at this location! Glad I do not frequent this one often! Going to have to echo what some of the other recent critical reviews have been saying. This Chick-fil-A is not up to par to the other locations in the city, let alone the region. Two items in my order were forgotten, and I was given the wrong size on one item, which we didn't realize until we were home (yes, I should have checked before I left). Also, I didn't know this because I've never had an incorrect order before, but if you have an order issue you have to contact the restaurant directly rather than using the app to get your refund for missing items. Well, I tried calling twice now and the phone line just rings and rings, so I've paid for food that I never received and it looks like it's going to stay that way. As for the food, it was decent.. it wasn't bad, but it didn't taste quite as fresh as what I'm used to getting at the other locations. The fries did not taste extremely fresh and I was not given a ton of fries in the carton. And the service wasn't really great either. Again it wasn't bad, just not as good as you might expect from other Chick-fil-A locations. This location is pretty much on par with what you expect from normal fast food in the city, which is not what I want from a Chick-fil-A. I...

5 minutes before close a cop stops me at the door but asks me if I had an online order. Cute. The time it would have took to get me fries and a drink would have been nothing.

Tried to order on app but it had to update. Got to finishing my order and it turned 10...

So, I will be taking my business to canes for awhile. They have NEVER turned down my business before close.

Upped to a three star since I was given a container to put my 8 orders of fries in to serve with... Still not what I asked for, but better than nothing and much closer to what I expected for paying 1.5x the amount for the same food that I'd get from Canes.

Was the extra plastic platter tray I asked for that the order taker said I could have that your manager then said they wouldn't give to me for with my $95 meal worth the 1 star review?

Just wondering.

FYI, since you've closed your dine in, you have not been able to work your drive thru at a pace I would consider acceptable for drive thru fast food.
