IHOP — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Ok so I said to my friend..."I love this IHOP location" ...why did I do that...this was the visit from hell. So my daughter and I go in and we are seated..I asked my waiter how long will the food take because I have move plans at 2:30pm and its 12:00 pm at the time. He says "oh it should only take about 45mins -1 hr because they were pretty packed. I agreed that would work. So I placed my order at 12 and at 1:50 the waiter apologizes for the food taking so long. I politely said "its ok just put it in a to go box please" the order comes in the to go box, but some of the order is wrong. So the waiter takes some of it back to get it corrected and I kept the rest of the wrong order because I was ready to go. I then start to eat out of the to go box at the table while I wait. This woman walks up to me with this confused look on her face. She does not have a uniform on so im wondering...why is she approaching me. She then says in this very low grumbly voice "what's wrong" so im completely uncomfortable because I dont know who this is or what she's talking about and she is leaning over my food. I thought this was a handicapped customer who got separated from her group so I just look up and replied "I'm ok" 😐 I then start looking around for someone who came with her to get her. By this time the waiter returns and I realize this is the Manager 😲😲 who approached the table because she seen me eating at the table out a to go box (im to assume because she never introduced herself nor was she in uniform or had a badge or anything) So I ask how will I be compansated for the inconvenience and she says she will be back..I got to pay at the register and I was overcharged and nothing was removed from the bill...but by this time I was almost late for my movie so i just left. Although this was my first bad experience here. It was soooo bad that I will not...

We love this IHOP location on College Drive. Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is usually impeccable, especially when we're lucky enough to get Ms. Brenda. However, we had Jasmine, who did okay at first, but she progressively got worse. She forgot to bring several pieces of our order and had to be reminded. We asked her for leftover containers, and she gave us some too small containers. When I requested something bigger, she said that was all they had. I knew better and told her that we frequent the place and always get bigger plastic containers with lids to put our leftovers in. She said she'd have to find out if we could have those because they used them for to-go orders. She finally came back with one. Then, perhaps the most ridiculous thing she did was to give my daughter a to go drink cup with a lid she had just dropped at a table (with patrons eating). We saw her and asked her to bring another because that was bad hygiene. When she returned with a new lid, she slammed it on our table. We stopped Ms. Brenda and told her what happened and asked her to get a manager for us. Before the manager came, Jasmine returned as we were telling Ms. Brenda what transpired, and we told her what she'd done. She said she was sorry and was just very busy (when we arrived around 10:30, she had 1 other table and there were only maybe 10 other people eating there total). We told her we just wanted her to be aware so she could do better. The manager/lead person did speak with us, and we told her all was well because we'd spoken with Jasmine. We will return to IHOP though, despite this...

I went to ihop and i was already expected to wait 30 minutes even though I had to wait for my food. My food was the bomb I had the New York pancakes with strawberries and bananas and I also had the spicy omelette which was awesome no I was not tripping because I had to wait 30 minutes but I told myself this is on College Drive I know how they operate already it's no big deal and thats because i really wanted the food i ordered.I even went across the street to go get me a Starbucks latte my order still wasn't ready but I gave it four stars because of the food they need to hire more people and I even told a guy that was up there that was taking my order I said why don't y'all answer the phones I say you sitting right here his face was blank his face said a lot like he was guilty like he knew that people was calling and he was not answering the phones like I understand that yall're busy but at the end of the day try yall best to answer the phones don't just sit up there and just allow the phone to continue to ring and ring they had somebody else say the same thing that I had said he said he called six times and nobody answer the phone so like I said they need to hire more people that wants to work period.

I just want to say this if y'all continue to let the phone's ring and ring and not have as many people to work and that restaurant on College Drive I do feel like maybe some people might just go ahead and go to another IHOP even though they don't want to but I mean they might not have no other choice so I think that y'all need to...
