Don't get misled by the 1 star I have given. The restaurant deserves none but for some strange reason Google reviews need at-least 1 star.
My friends and I went around 9:15 PM and ordered some malai kofta, chicken curry etc. They hesitated to take the order and when I eagerly asked why, they said restaurant closes at 10 PM and hence the hesitance. We are talking exact times here. Hold on, that's just a start !
The food came and on first bite we realized that all curries we ordered were made in a cheeky manner. They make a common gravy and use it for any order we make. They have frozen kofta that are added later on and not even boiled. The chicken was cold and hard in the hot gravy. When asked why, they shamelessly said they were all frozen food.
The buffet in the afternoon tastes fine but I seriously have concerns on their preparation. So, if you are reading this and if you want to eat some healthy fresh food, please avoid this restaurant.
Worst part - I tasted the food (it was uneatable) and when I complained, there were no signs on apology, instead I was explained how they freeze food for days and use them later..
In brief - The restaurant serves classic old wine and some classier old food. Wine from previous centuries and food from...
Read moreHorrible food and service. Very dirty. The minute you enter you can smell the carpet stink. It's so dirty that it has changed into a darker shade! We ordered aloo tikki and it tasted slightly stale. We told them to replace but they explained how it couldn't be the case. They put paneer cubes and chicken cubes in same gravies and served as two different and still pathetic tasting entrees. After serving, the entire staff vanished (probably out of embarrassment) and the one guy at the front desk was busy talking to another guy and we almost decided on calling him on his phone to get his attention. We waited for another 15mins for the follow up order. Awful restrooms- the signs on the door are taped (they couldn't even use double sided). We couldn't eat the food so we decided to get some take out from another Indian restaurant nearby (Jeet) and the food there was amazing and the restaurant so neat. After reading this review, if you still some how end up there, then please go to Jeet Indian Cuisine instead. It's just 5 mins away. I am not a promoter of Jeet restaurant. Just another wife who should have listened to her husband for dinner...
Read moreI would like to rate actually zero 0 but as it will not allow me to rate in negative. Worst Indian restaurant I ever been to. Went there with my American friend to made him familiar with Indian food but really his comments was like the food he had at my home was far better then the restaurant food. Worst food I had there. I ordered Malai kofta and the kofta was very hard. Then I was served a panner dish without even asking us when we were done with our dinner and charged us as well for that kofta. I ordered a Lacha Parantha but what I was served was a really shocked when I got a tawa Parantha I mean seriously why will one will go to a restaurant to have a tawa Parantha man. Will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone for sure . It’s for sure not a maharaja like quality they serve. The server was like he is serving in his home to people. So would like to rate again 0 for hospitality to this restaurant. At last I would like to say the roadside restaurant in india is even way more better then this restaurant. So please people avoid going to this restaurant it’s not only money u will waste but also u will hate Indian food if...
