I walked into this location to place an order and made a discovery that their card reader was still down after two weeks. I tried to place a mobile order but missed the 30 minute cut off, so I tried to pay in store with the same card that I always use to place my mobile order with, and it would not go through on their system, I even tried to punch the numbers in as well, that did not work. So all of the girls pretty much had no explanation as to why my transaction could not be processed. So when I asked to speak to a manager and try to get this sorted out, the manager just shrugged her shoulders and walked away from the register which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to someone who was just trying to get something sorted out. I understand technical difficulties happen, but for no one to have any kind of reason, or explanation, or even to just be of service to be helpful, I don’t think I will be returning to this coming again, especially when there are 3 other smoothie companies around you guys. Read moreI had to ask two different people where to find and item. The first person pointed and sent us to the wrong aisle. The 2nd person at least pointed us at the right aisle. After still not finding it there was a button in the aisle to call for help. When no help came we tried the Michael's website and at least confirmed the 2nd person told us to go the right aisle. After inspection of every shelf tag we were able to find what we were looking for. We contemplated using the "buy online pick up at store" feature. At least then the employees would have had to find it.
This is why stores are closing and online sales are taking over. Stores don't pay enough and don't train enough. Because of these cost cutting measures they can't hold their employees to a standard. Without a standard, and with identical jobs with identical compensation are literally next door, the employees have no motivation to do better or serve the customers better. They answered my questions ( everyone of them) like they were not a problem to be asked. They worked fast and efficient. The 5 smoothies for kids and friends were loved.
