Definitely worth checking out!! To start off our favorite go-to sushi place was Tokyo in Fairborn but since closing and Tasty Wok taking over it's just not the same. But this place.. man this place is it!! The whole experience was amazing! As soon as you walk in the place is beautiful! I loved the flower ceiling. Eve was our server (and if I assume correctly the owner as well) and she was amazing! We aren't drinkers by any means but she told us they have a couple flavors of Soju. I'm a big fan of anything strawberry so we said f-it and got a bottle. I can't stand the taste of any alcohol but this stuff was SO good! No alcohol burn or anything, so smooth and the strawberry taste was amazing. No chaser needed 😅 and we even got to take the rest of the bottle home after Eve wrapped it up for us! Now I'm a huge sushi lover as well so I got the spicy crab and the BTS roll and both were amazingly good! The BTS roll was perfectly crunchy on the outside and the spicy crab had just the right amount of kick to it! My bf got the beef bulgogi and I snuck a little bite of it and the side of cucumber kimchi and they both were so yummy! The cucumber kimchi was spicier than my spicy crab but so tender while still having a little crunch to it. We also got milk tea to drink as well. Mine being taro and he tried the strawberry matcha. Both were so creamy and delicious that I almost drank both on top of half the bottle of strawberry Soju 🤣 When it came time to get a box for my left overs (the BTS roll was just too big for one meal) Eve even packed everything up for me while we talked about how they've been open for 5 months already and not too many people know about them yet. I hope they keep it up because this has now become our new...
Read moreHeaded to Sakura about 5 pm on a Sunday afternoon in the summertime... maybe not the best time of the week to get sushi. They do have sake now (see pic), which was a plus since it was a BD dinner for my son and he likes sake. We ordered a few different sushi rolls, but I find that the ones I ordered, resurgence the dragon roll, was a lot smaller in both thickness and length than I was used to being served. And we all know where prices for sushi are right now. I also was not able to see and identify the things I expected in my rolls. Perhaps the sushi chef put his own spin on it and I should have stuck with tuna. That said, the tempura shrimp in the rolls was good, the spicy mayo drizzle seemed to have an extra kick to it, and I wasn't really impressed with the sushi I had ordered. My son had a Zen Zen roll which he really liked. It did have a lot of fish, so good on that the seaweed salad was good. I'd never had one before, but my son had. One thing that really impressed both of us was the Korean seafood pancake. Utterly amazing. Good mix of flavors, crunchy, had veggies, and a seafood flavor that was there but not overwhelming. Having been to Japan and Korea, I studied that one of these in Korea would be much stronger in the seafood flavor, so this may be mild or too mild for some, but for my American palate that's been tweaked by some years of living in the far east a long time ago, it was perfect. Definitely worth going back for, all by itself. Our server also was very helpful and patient, even anticipating our need for more napkins when I asked for a replacement napkin, bringing extras...

The owner, Chris, personally welcomed us when we entered! The team did a great job making sure we had enough water and didn't check-in with us too much.
Great: The decor and atmosphere was great - a very spacious space with interesting mixed-use seating. The kimchi pancake was my favorite dish of the meal- a little spicy with a crispy top. Definitely a shareable dish for more than 2 people. The hot pot bugolgi looked really good with a mix of proteins (egg and your choice of meet) and vegetables (carrots, mushrooms, zucchini), on top a bed of rice.
Good: The Korean fried dumplings were good - slightly longer than a Chinese fried dumpling. The beef bugolgi was tasty, but my preference would be a longer marinade time. It was enhanced with some gochujang sauce they provided. The boba machine was working again - so we got the strawberry milk one and brown sugar one. Boba pearls were fresh and delicious - soft with a slight chew. The drinks were a bit sweeter than we liked, so next time we will ask for less sugar.
Bad:...
