I ordered an iced coffee. I originally wanted an apple pie iced coffee but of course they were out so the employee said he could do a regular iced coffee and add apple flavoring. I said sure and asked for extra cream. He gave it to me and the cream looked curdled and separated in the coffee. It also looked very dark compared to how I like my coffee. I should have not taken it and had it remade. It was absolutely the most bitter tasting coffee that I have ever had, so bitter I couldn’t taste any apple flavoring nor cream or sweetness. It was undrinkable due to the bitterness. I threw it away. That employee 100% knew that was a disgusting drink but served it anyway and charged my 5 something for it without a worry. Lately they’re drip coffee is terrible as well either being out of flavors or it’s sat so long it taste burnt. Overall, prices have increased but quality has greatly decreased and obvious employees don’t care if they’re serving you crap. Sad cuz it used to be my main go to- no longer- 1000%...
Read moreWe love this place so much and go here all the time. This coffee shop is usually our first choice over other places. We always have the greatest things to say about the staff and the drinks until today. We clearly annoyed one of the staff who I think might have been a manager since the girl at the drive through asked them for their code to change my order. This person made it very well known in front of us, that we upset them by their physical and verbal reaction. We spend a lot of money here and on this particular day we spent $25.00 on coffees only to be a bother. I understand getting stressed about things in customer service because I work in this area but if you could please tell your staff to react where the customers cannot see them, that would be much appreciated. Very unprofessional and I don't think this represents Winans very well. The two staff members who took our order and money were wonderful and the drinks were fabulous...
Read moreI wanted some local coffee to send as a Christmas gift and many people suggested I come here. I've been to another location and tried some of their chocolates. So I figured I could try this location to get coffee and a treat for myself!
I visited just before noon on a Monday in early December. I had no problem finding a close parking spot and there were only a couple other people in the store. They had plenty of space to themselves to enjoy their coffee and read or get work done. I would love to come back on a day without the kiddos and meet a friend!
There was only one guy working and he was quite busy with the drive-through. But that gave me the time I needed to look through their selection and make some decisions. I got the Pecan Creme Brûlée Coffee ($15). For truffles, I knew I needed the Bavarian Mint, cookie dough and the Highlander Coffee. I also noticed a peanut butter cup crunch, so I had to give that one a try! I can't wait...
